The remaining Miles - rideandshoot

Recently I started to notice that I was getting increasingly comfortable with my routine, so to throw the body a curve ball I started a new regime today.

Today was back-day.
Mainly following a eight rep, four set system.

All these exercises are done consecutively fast, I had to stop and catch my breath occasionally.

10 mins on the treadmill at a good speed to warm up. Just started to run inside now, since its below freezing outside I'm starting to whimp out on my outdoor running.

Deadlifts 4x8 50kg (When done extremely clean, i found this to be quite hard. don't know if that makes me a ****y or not)
Pull down 4x8 40kg (DO YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT YOU CAN NOT DO ONE FRIGGIN PULL UP? YOU GOTTA BE ****TIN ME PVT. PYLE)
Db rows 4x8 40kg
cable rows 3x8 40kg

End with a ass kicking 5 min run. fast.
I'm zapped:violent:

Ok, update time.

For the past 2 days I've been on a pretty low carb diet.
I'm going to stick with some carbs, but go as low as I can without feeling energy levels plummeting.
I've come far on a pretty basic healthy diet and simple exercise programs, and I want to see how far I can take it with going all out Nazi diet and hardcore intelligent exercise before i do any full blown ketosis diet.

For starters i now keep a very detailed food log that I carry around everywhere like a total freak.
I need to buy some sort of food transport device so I can pre-make all the food i intend to eat.

What's the purpose for going low-carb?

I guess we have at least two freaks in this world :)

I carry my notebook diet with me to work, and keep a running log everyday, and have since I started 3 years ago. Its so part of my life, is nearly second nature. I could careless what people think about it. Its works for me, and while I am caring about my diet, and modifying things at the right times, the ones that do not want to modify things at the right times, are the ones that WILL have problems.

I have a personal history log of what worked and what didn't, and this is: PRICELESS.

Carry on, young man.

Best wishes,

Chillen

Update

Well, i had a bit of a moment of clarity roughly a week ago.

For the past months I have been doing a mixture of HIIT and weight lifting. This has given decent progress in building muscle, but not that amazing in fat loss.
I forget exactly where i read it, although it was probably several sources: CARDIO.

I looked back at my biggest progress periods and realized i was doing way more and longer cardio sessions. Sure enough, after just a few days back on track i can already feel it.

Lesson learned, back to hyper focus :angry3:
