The Reacharound Gang: EVO <3 Mreik and Karky watches

The only two right off the top of my head are Harrison Bailey and Greg Hadley.

I've heard of Greg Hadley. The guys I know are Jeff Ingram, Lee Distad and Aaron Andronyk (I know them/they know me through a strength forum). They are really nice guys.

I'm not sure any of them are competing anymore, though.

I haven't swooned like this since David Archuleta sang another day in paradise. I'm swooning.

:speechless: My condolences to you, Chillen. A little green person told me those things grow back ...

Anyway, if that's true, we need glute pics :D

I've heard of Jeff; I've never met him before due to his location. Most of the throwers, unless they're pro, compete within a state or two only of their location. Ex: Those of us that are in Oklahoma that compete will compete in Oklahoma and Texas. I think a few of us are going to attempt to get to Kentucky next year. Or I might try and trek to a competition that Georgen is going to so I can meet him in person.

Hadley is awesome. He's almost as awesome as Craig Smith.

be still my heart....lol :)

now why are you wearing them little black shorts????:action:

Wellllll...long story short is that most of the Games here in the States are family-friendly. So they request that you wear something under the kilt. Now you go throw in Scotland, that's a different story.

Should I wear something skimpier?

thank GAWD! somebody that is finnally a big enough attention sucker to get the spotlight off me for a bit

tell us about the games, what you will be doin, what your goasl are and such,,, so we can really get down to some serious admiration.

I'd imagine you are doing more than the big pencil flip?

There's a lot to tell when you start describing the games. Summary=you have 7-9 events typically. You spend all morning and day and sometimes into the evening competing. You compete in all sorts of weather and temperatures. I've competed in 104 degree temperatues and in sub 30 degree temps with sleet and ice and horrid wind.

My goals are pretty simple but will have to wait until next year. I've been throwing as a C class thrower. The Games that don't have C class, I throw in B class. I always do well even in the upper classes; I'm always at least in the top 5. I've had this thing of coming in 2nd in the C class Games for awhile now and I'm ready to break into B class.

We were supposed to go to the Salado Game on the 2nd weekend in November. It was an open competition so there are no class breakdowns which means I'd be throwing against some Super As, As, and Bs. But we got a phone call from one of our Oklahoma throwers asking us to come do a day long demo/friendly competition at Ft. Smith on the same weekend. We decided last night to go to Ft. Smith so we'd be supporting Oklahoma.

So my next official Game I will compete in will be on March 21st at our local Oklahoma City Highland Games. It's actually a festival that I co-host with another thrower here in OKC.

My biggest problems are weight over bar and heavy weight for distance in which I'm throwing some poor numbers. The weight over bar event is finally clicking with me and I'm hitting PRs. But I really need to do something about my heavy weight for distance.
