Well, Coffeebro kicked his friend's ass and won 'the bet' and needed some more competition to keep him on the right path.

I'm about to pass (hopefully successfully) my first short-term goal and wanted something else to look forward to.

So the only logical thing to do was to challenge Coffeebro to see who could lose the most weight in the month of May. We're each weighing in today. Whoever loses the most weight between now and June 1st's weigh-in wins.

Others are certainly welcome to join us in The Big Lose, though the competition itself is still just between Coffeebro and I. We'd love some company/help along the way. Just post your earliest May weigh-in and follow along.

There's been no talk of what the winner gets, but we've got time to figure that out. Feel free to suggest some stakes as well.

I will update this post each time I weigh-in for this competition so all my numbers are in the same spot and I will post new replies for matters unrelated to how much ass I'm kicking or is being kicked. :D Good luck, Coffeebro!

Ok guys, I guess I am in, although I lose weight sooooooooooooooooooooooo slowly, it will be more for the sake of entertainment than anything else. Just think of how good you will both feel kicking my butt :D

I am a teacher, after all. :) (whose butt is kicked all the time, not the other way around...usually)

I'm up for the entertainment, and now ali.smedley will feel better, too!

Alright! Nice to see some more join in. Good luck mjultis and Angelica. And thanks spartacus... it was nice to see that. Now I just have to keep it up. So are you going to put your name in the hat as well? C'mon. All the other cool kids are doing it.
 
I wanna play, I wanna play! I'm a newbie but I hope you all don't mind if I jump in here. I also lose slowly so my weekly goal is 2 lbs. Anything more will be a much welcomed bonus! ;)

Nice going, Coffeebro. I'm glad to report a loss. I was really worried that my birthday was going to be my first big setback. But that should be the last of major festivities for the month. Time to buckle down and do this up. Good luck next week, all!
 
Nice job Fish! I know what you mean. Ive got my birthday on the 19th so thats going to set me back a little. Im going to have to kick into gear now to compincate.

I'd like to join, just to see what I can do with a bit of encouragement and support.
