This is a challenge for June to loose 2lb a week each

Dont worry if you dont make it, but give it a shot and see if you can loose 8lb in a month, maybe more!

Copy and paste the following to a new post - and good luck :) (if you're part of the 8 week challenge and want to change your weigh in day to Friday - that's fine too - just edit the dates accordingly)

Start Weight (5/28..end of my May 2lbs a week challange) = 228

04 June= 222 (-6 lbs)....(my plateau ended with a bang!)
11 June= 221 (-1 lbs)....(really suprised, i kinda slacked off, i thought it woulda remain the same)
18 June= 216 (-5 lbs)....(i'm not happy, i have a feeling i lost a lot of water and some muscle)
25 June= 218 (+2 lbs)....(first time I gained weight through one of these challenges..but I have a feeling I am more hydrated :()
02 July= 214 (-4 lbs)...:)D...i smell onederland soon baby! the lightest I have probably weighed in at a long time)

Since I joined this site,the challenges have helped to keep me focused.
In May we had Mothers Day and Memorial day...I defiently need this one.:0)

I had moderate success in May, losing 5 pounds. Would be happy to do this in June again, which would put me in the 130's...........As high as it can be in the 130's, but I would gladly take it!

I am definatly ready to get to my butt in gear!!! After surgery and finishing up my year at school I am ready to hit the gym and really focus to lose the last and get to my final goal!!!

im in, though i havent had my last weigh in for may yet. im on holiday for 2 weeks in june, so i need to be strong and not give in to the temptation of too many ice creams and fish and chips :mad: if i can get under 150 i will be happy, though that may be a bit optimistic given my holiday. slim

(Editing on 06/09/07 - Revving up my water drinking in a big way, increasing my exercise by a baby step. Have cut way back on carb intake and boosted my protein. One problem I think I was running into was not putting nearly enough protein in my diet. I had hit a long plateau. Folks, I hope I am doing this right. I want to thank you all for the encouragement here. It's great. Three pounds solid this morning and a renewed commitment to reach my goals. It's SO good to see I have 59 lbs to go and not 80+ any longer.)

(Editing on 06/12/07 - Ooooo...do I see 178 and one more pound gone? I think I do...will know for sure on 6/16.)

I was useless in May, all I did was gain...so I really hope to lose significant weight this month.

Im in!! Really excited that this may be the month I break 200, bring it on!!!

June is also the first month in a longtime that I can truly dedicate and focus exercise, fitness, food and weightloss. I do go on holiday on 18th June for two weeks, but am determined to make sensible food choices as well as take advantage of a beach to jog on, places to explore, sunshine to workout in etc etc. However, because of the hol I will be without scales or internet access for two weeks, so the dates have to be changed slightly!!
