The journey of an overweight mom...

Well 1 week under my belt!! BOY am I tired today. I had a longgggggggg busy weekend and literally went on the go with yard work, birthday parties, and everything in between this weekend. So I was just too tired when I did sit down and stop to even log on here.

I did so much yard work saturday and sunday that my toes even hurt. :sad2:
I am very sore today and tired. I took me some ambien last night and was just tooooo tired to even sleep!!! So needless to say I did not make the gym today at all. I am going to use today to rest. Not to mention my head is pounding!!

I forgot to step on the scales this morning so I will weigh in tomorrow. I did really well with my water this weekend and of course lots of hard work in the yard doing physical labor. However, I would forget it was time to eat so each day I only ate 3 meals :eek: but hey those three were healthy!

I will write more later...I have a meeting to hope on over to.

So I haven't had much time on here this week. It is my month end at work and it is crazy busy. I havent done well with my water so tomorrow I am going to step it up. I just get so busy I forget it is even sitting there.

I also want to focus on stopping the negative talk about myself. I can not change the past. I can only look to the future and control what lies in FRONT of me.

So, as of this moment I will have no more negative talk about myself.

I will be focused on what I am BECOMING, not what I had become.
I will focus on the good feeling I have right now of feeling my body get smaller. I will NOT focus on how big I let myself get.
I will focus on improving my self-image, not degrading myself.
I am a woman in a transition phase!!!! I am no longer what I was and not quite what I will become.

I CAN AND WILL DO THIS!!!!:hug2:
 
I am down 2 pounds this week. I will take it. That is at least 2 pounds gone that I will not get it back!!

I also wanted to say I joined a tennis team today! WOOHOOO!! I was going to just wait untiL i get in better shape but practice doesnt start until May 29th so I was like why wait? So I have joined and I am soooo excited. Our matches start June 6th so I still have PLENTY of time to kick it up! :action2:

Ok I am off for now... I am busy busy busy...
 
I forgot to mention that I am down a total of 7 pounds since I started. I started at 165 and I am now at 158. :jump1:

Hey in 2 weeks I will take it. It is a start anyways :) I have not started weights yet but will start that Monday. This weekend I will be doing tons of yard work again so that will be my exercise til Monday.

I actually joined a website yesterday that has some trainers to help me put together a 30 day workout plan. I thought I could put one together myself but I want to make sure I put together the "right" plan and did this right. I also joined fitnessjournal.com so that I can input my food and weight workouts to see what calories I have burned vs took in etc. and be able to graph my journey. It is a pretty cool little site. But I will also still be here to blog, learn, etc. That site has where I can set goals, see them in motion and etc.

I am just trying to make sure that I kick it up in high gear and give this 110%. My husband and I are going away for a romantic 5 day trip in 47 days so I am trying to lose what I can before that trip. Then in another 35 days PAST that trip, we are headed to the beach for a week with the kiddies so I definitely want to be as low as I can for that trip...:)

I am off to finish my month end at work. :)
