I took a few days off as the inflammation in my shoulder has been getting the best of me and I've felt just plain wiped out. It was a good few days of rest (even threw a few cheat meals in there) and I plan on geting back to the gym tonight.

This lifestyle is basically a 24 hr a day job.

True indeed. Sunday I start with Roc Shabazz my new trainer and I am beyond excited. The girl I competed with last year took 1st place at this last weekend's show in Birmingham and all the girls he trains look fantastic.

As a last naughty moment for the next 12 weeks, I threw down the bad throttle. :) I dont' regret. I did lots of cardio today and also ate like I should.

The problem with the cheating is that I can't just have a "meal", it's a all day event. I can't handle it because my body is so unused to the food and I feel awful! Still that bag of chocolate eggs, well when they were going down I sure didn't have a tummy ache. Some things I just won't eat though. I haven't had bread in forever.

Hope your shoulder feels better! I hate injury. I lightened my weight and good bit and focus on strong contractions and I don't seem to get hurt as much. I am sure I don't need to give you advice but thought I would share. Pain sucks.

Have you never thought about taking longer off of upper body training? Or just anything that involves moving your shoulder? I bet a month of not lifting your arm above horizontal or lifting anything heavier than a gym bag would reap great long term rewards.
