The Bench Chart

300 - Chanes427

1.5 - Chanes427 (300/200)

Wow, this is a good bench marker, on 5/8, the last time that I posted on this topic, my 1rm was 275. Yesterday, I was able to do that 5 times and a 6th with a little help. Just wanted to share and is my strength going up slowly or is this normal gain? At least I am gaining strength which is good but 4 months to do 4 extra reps, is that good or bad?

I'd say going for a weight being your 1rm to being able to do that same weight 5 times in a matter 5 months is a remarkable increase

I'll probably never post another lift on here because I haven't done a bench press in months. I'm getting better chest development than ever doing weighted dips. Of course I also get some from military presses.

I've been converted to the anti bench press movement LOL

P.S nobody, your avatar terrifies me;)

I can't BP right now because of my biceps tendon issue.

So right now I can BP the freaking 45lb bar with one hand :D Woo-hoo!

I can't even bench my weight anymore (155 or whatever it is now). My max BP lately has been 140. I can't seem to get any higher than that. Don't know why. Must be mental.

But 140lbs isn't so bad for a girl ;)

I put up 345 for 2 earlier this year. I hit 315 this past Friday and I struggled my a$$ off getting it up. This year has taken a toll on my strength.

At the beginning of this vid I just posted on my blog is the 315 effort:

Now that I'm toying around with RP training with slow eccentrics, I doubt I'll be getting my max numbers up anytime soon. We'll see.

Daaaaaaaaang Soooooooon!!!

That was bad ass! i like those pullup variations. And how u dominated those 1-leg squats, which are my worst nightmare lol

Haha, not me.

I was only doing bench and trying to do a pullup with the damn woman hanging from me.

Everything else was my biz partner. He has me beat. I can do pistol squats, muscle ups, and the plyo pullups....

I can not, however, do the jumping pistols. He barely good either, but much better than my efforts!

Those pull-up variations? We used to have to do that in gymnastics. Not easy. But you have to have good lats to do gymnastics ;) Just keep your shoulders set tight or you'll be sorry later on ...

One-legged squats aren't easy, either. But jumping on something afterwards? Totally sick!!! :D

I also liked those modified back extensions ;)

That video was impressive.
