August is a week away -so let's get thinking about this challenge...

This is a challenge for August to loose 2lb a week each

Dont worry if you dont make it, but give it a shot and see if you can loose 10lb in a month!

I'm IN!! I know, I know, I've gotten bad at not finishing these challenges....BUT my Bday is also in august..my 30th! yikes! and I want to loose as much weight as possible before then!!

I am in too. Though I am not sure if I will. My problem is not food. I have to cut down liquor, coffee, sugar and start working out. Need some advice to keep my mind off these liquids.

I'm totally in. I am working currently on the july 2lb challenge as but seeing as how i started in the middle of that challenge I would really like to see how I do at this for a whole month. :)

Starting weight (july 30th last day of july 2lb challenge):
Goal for the month has been readjusted after thinking about it. i am going to go for just hitting like 8 lbs by the beginning of the halloween challenge.

July 30th sw: 253.2
August 6: 250.2 (-3 lbs)
August 13:250 (-.2 lbs)
August 20:248.4(-1.6 lbs)
August 27: 246.2 (-2.2 lbs)
Sept 1st:
Finish weight:
Total lost in August: 7 lbs lost so far for this month.

I am in too

I weigh in on Thursdays, so I guess my last one in July is the 26th!!
I am trying for 7.5 lb loss. It would put me in the 150's YAY!!

Start Weight = 166.5 (July 26th, end of July challenge for me)

02 Aug= 166.0 (-0.5) A loss is a loss right? :)
09 Aug = 164.4 (-1.6) I am so happy!! Now I just have to keep it up!!
16 Aug = 162.6 (-1.8). YEAH!!
23Aug = 160.8 (-1.8). I am kicking butt!!
30 Aug = 160.0 (-0.8) Oh, If only this would have been 159.8..:)

Total lost : 6.5 lbs
Finish Weight = 160.0

Total Lost in August= 6.5 lbs (1 lb under my goal)

OK I am new to this forum but I need to jump onto this challenge! I ave been bouncing around the same spot for MONTHS and now adding weights has increased the scale even though everything looks more toned....stillnot happy about the weight!!! My goal is to break 133...since I know I am carrying at least 3 pounds of PMS water weight...I think it's possible! My goal for the 3rd is 137.

10 August = 88.1 kg./193.8 lbs.(-1.9 kg./-4.2 lbs.) Challenge met!
17 August = 88.5 kg./194.7 lbs.(+0.4 kg./+0.9 lbs.) SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
24 August = 87.6 kg./192.7 lbs.(-0.9 kg./-2.0 lbs.) Challenge met!
31 August = 86.0 kg./189.2 lbs.(-1.6 kg./-3.5 lbs.) Challenge met!


Finish Weight = 86.0 kg./189.2 lbs.

Total Lost in August = 4.7 kg. or 10.3 lbs. :rotflmao:

This is a real success. However I see it was uneven loss. I have to work on it. Plus it is a bit too much. The World Health Organization recommends (I read somewhere) as healthy weight loss not more than 3 kg. (6.6 lbs.) per month. I am quite happy though.
