The -5- Gigli's

Actually, as much as I hate to admit it, most movies based on Stephen King's novels aren't really good. I think 'The Green Mile' and 'Misery' are the only really good ones.

The mini series are all pretty crappy, even though I actually enjoyed 'Rose Red' and 'Storm of the Century'. I guess mainly because they were made for TV, with no book to go with it (so you don't have high expectations for starters), whereas 'The Stand' and 'It' both have books to go with them, which are of course far better than the crappy series they were turned into. Must say though, Tim Curry as Pennywise was spot on, scared the crap out of me back then, and does to this day....I HATE clowns!!!

Loved 'The Ring' though - the original, not the american remake!! Nobody I know who's seen the movie pops the unlabelled tape into the vcr just to check what's on it...oh no....*lol*

I believe you forgot to add Shawshank Redemption as one of the good ones, but I forgive you.

The ring was great IMO too.

As for Bruce Almighty... I agree Carey has not picked his scripts very well... I can not believe they did a sequel.
