Ok your top 5 worst films. You cannot include Gigli since we all know it will be in everyones top 5 if theyve seen it.

Stay Away From These:

Walk Hard - the Dewey Cox Story.... I am a huge J. Cash fan and this film a mockery that actually made me see red...

The Village - Only provided a good conversation on social implications of the plot.

Signs - Horrid... just wretched...

X - Files : the first movie

Happy feet - My wife and I were both pissed after leaving this one.

1. The Shining (Jack Nicholson completely ruined it)
2. American Pie (pick any, they are all bad)
3. The Grudge (SMG sucks, sorry!)
4. Alladin
5. The latest James Bond movie (no clue what it's called)

OH COME ON!!!!

All work and no play makes jack a dull boy!!!

/me shed's a tear for Jack....

to each their own.

I love Stephen King's books, and I am sorry, but the movie was crap, and Jack Nicholson was the wrong choice to portray the character properly. Even the Master himself said it...not to mention that the rest of the cast wasn't exactly impressive either. I wanted to strangle that woman after about 2 minutes!

Not to mention the fact that they shredded the original story to begin with...

Pan's Labyrinth
What Dreams may come
Superbad
Any Jackass Movie
Borat

Wow. I loved Signs, and The Village.

The Hulk
Elektra
Cat Woman
Daredevil
Superman Returns

Seriously, superhero movies have been the worst movies made recently. The Spiderman series, and the latest Batman series are exceptions to that rule, though.

I disagree.. Spidey 3 sucked.

And anything with Bale in it is good.

If you guys are being serious you are either really lucky or very sheletered. The Shining? Pan's Labyrinth? I can see how people would dislike these movies but worst ever? No way. nOt even close.

Well, the really bad ones I don't watch in the first place, like the remakes...I never watch remakes, because they always suck...so I can only comment on what I've seen....*lol*

Hmmm... It's funny because I actually like a few of the movies that have been listed on here... I really enjoyed Walk Hard and The Shining... that's just me tho. I agree that re-makes can be ridiculous sometimes... I tend to like the slasher/horror movies they have remade in the past few years. Sure some of them are probably not as good as the original but it's fun to see them somewhat updated and I do think they kind of have a place...

Two movies, that I actually walked out on, in the movie theater were:

Instinct
The Lady in the Water

I'll have to think of my other 3 Giglis...

The Shining was great and Jack Nicholson was great in it.

Let's see... 5 I hated...
Those horrible Austin Powers movies
Monty Python.. I hate british humor
The Titanic.. Kate Winslet looked like Leonardo's mother
Easy Rider.. at the end I was like WTF
The Airplane movies

See? That's where opinions differ. I for example thought that Kate Winslet was the only person that made Titanic bearable, and I love Life of Brian, amongst other Python movies. But that's personal opinion - wouldn't be fun if we all liked the same stuff now, would it? :)

Nicholson and the Shining on the other hand...well, it's a fact that Kubrick completely slashed the original story, and that Nicholson wasn't a good choice for the part. The end bits, yes, but he screwed the beginning, royally. I found that most people who actually like the movie never read the book, which is okay I guess - but I prefer the books, and the movie has just been changed way too much from the book, and not for the better.

Agreed. I about died when I saw the Monty Python's// The Meaning of Life might be one of the smartest comedies ever made.

That is why I do so many opinion based threads though. I like to hear other sides of the story.

I just saw a movie that has to make the list. I really can't see anyone liking this. Southland Tales. Oh my fucking God was it bad.

Other movies that would be on my list,

Titanic, for sure. Too stupid for words.
Jurasic Park II. I want those two hours back.
Star Wars, Attack of the Clones. Uhm, the things I have to say about this aren't fit for the general public.

Agreed about The Meaning of Life, for sure. And agreed about liking to hear both sides of the story as well...:)

OOOOhh....Jurassic Park. That might just be even worse than the Shining. Totally with you on wanting those two hours back. And the money I paid to get in.
The 'new' Star Wars movies, I don't even know the names of all of them, but they should all be burned.

There are soooo many but these are my favorite baddest movies of all time:

1. Stephen Kings tv mini series: "The Stand"--hokey, overacted drivel.

2. Stephen Kings tv mini series: "It"--hokey, overacted drivel.

3. "Bruce Almighty"--Jim Carey has worn out his welcome IMO.

4. "The Ring"

5. "Batman"- w/Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer
