Hey everyone! Just checking in to see how everyone is doing :) No one posts here :( Anyone figure out what they are going to be for halloween? Only 3 more days til weigh in time! Keep at it!!!

Patty - how did the run go?

Hatefat - I am also an evening eater. That is my biggest problem when it comes to dieting. I need to get strict and stop eating at least 3 hours before bed. I also weigh my self a few times a week. I like to see how I am doing throughout the week.

Good job everyone on the weight loss!!

This week is not fairing very well. I have too many dinner parties this past couple weeks and I now I am sick with a nasty cold. I have exercised only twice this week but hope to get a good workout in tomorrow.

hi to 2bfit: i know what you mean about those dinner parties : / or even just friends hanging out. when they come over they bring cookies and sweets. and its' really rude not to eat it : / (i think i mad someone mad by turning down coffee) and honestly, i don't think i'm ready to tell them about my diet ( i kno that sounds kinda lame) but yah, go team!!! :)
 
Hi all! I checked here the first few days and saw no one was posting, so honestly I stopped checking. I'll come back every day and post if you all will too. The encouragement will do us good.

I hit a new low weight on Tuesday. Usually when I hit a low weight, it's a fluke, and a few weeks pass before I see it again and break through it. Well, I lucked out and saw the same weight again this morning.

Whew! Just in time for weigh in: 134.0

Ran 5k yesterday (32:30) and again today (in the rain 33:06). Both times I jogged the whole way. I have NEVER done that before. So I'm pretty proud of myself. *pats self on back*

i've been moving between 148 and 149... this morning i was 148.6 but it fluxuates. : )

looking forward to see your posts!!!! i check everyday to see if you guys update so

hi ireally, i know what you mean about getting stuck at a certain couple of lbs. i write down my weight every day, so i can look back across this year and see how long i took to break free. what's cool about it is eventually i always break it, so i use it to motivate me when i think it's going nowhere.

this might be boring, but i'll post it anyway....

beginning of year 150 down to 145 was easy - got the flu. haha. then was stuck at 145-146 for 9 weeks, 142-144 for 5 weeks, 140-141 for 10 weeks, 138-139 for 6 weeks, 136-138 for 7 weeks, and now have just reached 134-136. and those were my lows for each week, highs adds at least 2 lbs to the range.

so there's hope. when you are stuck, just decide what tiny change(s) you can make to break through. write down a few ideas....
 
hi patty! you know what? my goals and your goals a very similar. i hate being stuck for sooo long. i was at 145 for a really long time, then i got really discourages so i called it quites then shot back up to 156 (i also went on vacation)but that was really scary for me so i tried to work out again, and slowly i'm climbing down the ladder again, but GOSH it takes suchhh a long time. i goal goal weight is between 125-130. erg i hate fat it's so annoying. i carry most of my fat around my stomach area. blah how about you guys?

2bfit and ireallyhatefat, you want to come up with a stock answer that will save you from people pushing food on you. something like "oh, i couldn't eat another thing, really, i'm stuffed"

i hear you ireally, its mostly in my stomach.

Okay guy I think I lost 1lb. I changed my start weight to 156lbs. I have been stuck on it for 3 weeks but today I am 155. I think I would like a new digital scale mine sucks. I also carry my weight around my middle and upper body.

Good job on the run Patty! I am buying new runners tomorrow, I am very excited! My knees have been killing me, so I have just been power walking lately but I really want to start jogging.
 
I bought new runners and I am back on my healthy eating. Today the scale was down another pound! I hope it continues to drop.:)
 
oh, i need new runners too. what kind did you get?

i'm thinking of running 5k again at the park today. thought maybe if i wrote it down, i'd do it.... am a little busy though.

I bought Brooks Glycerin 4 and they feel pretty comfy. I love new runners! I am up to about 2.5 miles in about 40 mins. I track every run so I can see my progress. I am really excited now to lose some weight. I want to be svelt my Christmas and all the holidays!
 
Good morning all. I don't think I'll hit my weight from last week, let alone lose any. I'll weigh in later today and see.

goodmorning patty! I weighed in this morning...im at 232. 7 more pounds to hit my goal for next week. I dont see that happening...but hopefully i'll come close!
 
I have walked/jogged everyday this week so far but I am not sure if I have lost anything? I will weigh in tomorrow and I am just hoping to see a drop.

I am 132.8 this am for weigh in.

Ran my first 5k event yesterday. The Great Pumpkin Fun Run. Around these beautiful tree lined streets and then ended in the Houston Zoo. Pretty cool. Time around 32:39.
