Tomorrow I'm going to kick arse in exercise/eating! I'm making myself a desktop wallpaper to help 'nudge' me in the right direction (Ie, a picture of myself compared to women I admire and/or think pretty, ie, Liv Tyler, Rachel Wiez, ect)

I'm also planning myself a little bootcamp tomorrow. Eep.

That's an awesome idea. :) I would do that, if I could stand seeing my self so freq. on my desk top at work. lol.. maybe on my laptop for home use I'll try it out! :D

I was very naughty at lunch today. I got called out of my favorite class, kickboxing, to go pick up my daughter at preschool. She had a wood chip impaled in her hand. Ugh! It was fine, and I could've taken care of it as easily as the doc did. Grrr! How annoying. And I missed my favorite class. I might go later and try to catch a class or two. I just go through so much getting my 2 year old into the kidwatch and everything. I just have to remind myself - better safe than sorry and I was playing it safe.
 
MO2, everyone gets to cheat at least once a week!! :)

And Paula,ohh bring it on boooooy!!!!! We are READY!!! :D
 
This is a neat website. I'm hanging in there with everybody on dropping some pounds.
I've never done much on the internet about my personal life but this seems harmless enough.
I have been encouraged so far visiting here. Thank you all.
 
G'Morning team mates!! :) You are all doing so great! ;) And I am happy to say, Check out my ticker!! I've got to bump it down. Sure just a 1/2 pound, but I've lost all the water weight I put on from the start of this thing, so that knocks me down 3lbs already! :) And its not even Monday yet!! Woohoooo!!!!

How's everyone doing? I had to fast for some blood work today, so I'm doing great food-wise. Probably won't make the gym today though.
I've had quite a week so far. Please please please let my life settle down soon!!

Aight guys...long day today...just checking in on everyone...weigh in day is monday..i havent weighed myself all week..helps me to stay motivated. I have done excerecises everyday but today. I am going to jump on the stationary bike tomorrow after doctor appt. I see him for my foot and i can finally get something done for this pain and swelling that i am having at work! Grr... Alright...tomorrow is busy dont know if Ill check in with you all this weekend or not...945 therapy, 2pm foot dr, and then when I get home hope to jump on the statinary bike a little bit and then work 6p-6a. Then sleep on saturday and then work 6p-6a and sleep on sunday 6p-12a....off monday and then back at it for another five in a row! Grr!! Have a good weekend everyone.

Yep - we've gotta motivate one another or the challenge will be pointless. For me, I 'm doing great on food, but once again, no exercise. I am doing Cycle/Spin and running for 30 min. on the treadmill tomorrow a.m.

hi guys! i haven't introduced myself yet..i'm heidi, i have two kids - a daughter (turns 16 next friday) and a son (turns 11 next month). my daughter has kind of gone off the rails (we moved back to australia in oct 2005 after three years in poland for work) and caused me terrible grief over the past 16 months. i also had a period of illness last year (about three months) where i was completely sedentary but ate like there was no tomorrow! the result of these two things plus various other stressors led me to put on about 12-15kgs. i was weighed by my doctor last september/october AFTER trying to eat healthily and exercise daily (for the first time ever) for a month, and was 80kgs, i've never been so big. none of my clothes fit and i was severely depressed. a couple of weeks of xenical followed (which i had to stop given the rather awful side effects!) and then i got a book on the low GI diet. i've been on it since 10 november last year. about a week after that i joined a gym. my weightloss has been pretty slow as i'm not overly strict (except this past week or two), but so far i've lost 10kgs.

i weighed in today at 70kgs, so being strict this week has worked!

hope everyone is feeling strong and excited to continue the challenge :) today i'll be going for a bike ride with my son and i'll see what other exercise i can fit in :)
 
Hey everyone!

Sorry I havn't been so active on here, I've been kind of sick these past couple of days...really exhausted for no reason at all, and a bit depressed because I miss my mom. I have though been doing housework and last night I got in about 10 minutes of dance. I know that's not alot, but it's something. I have been eating fairly good, though!

You all are doing fantastic! :)

Well everyone seems pretty darn good about posting! YAY! We won't have to boot anyone from the team. :D Weigh in for one week is tomorrow ladies! :) My only confession is that being TOM, I am already seeing my weight fly around on the scale, so I'm not sure what I'll be able to show for it anymore. I'll be drinking plenty of water today! Wishing you all lots of luck!!
 
I'm just finishing my TOM, too! We must be in cyber-sync. I hope everyone is doing great this weekend.
