You know you're motivated when last week you go down the chocolate aisle in the supermarket and grab 2 chocolate bars, but this week you walk past and it's "Nope! Not having any of that!" Head held high!
Went to my monthly physio appointment this morning and my lovely physio is happy with my improvement YAY. I've been battling with frozen shoulder for about 18 months now but each time I see her there is a little more improvement in my range of motion. Wouldn't wish this horrible ..... well you can't call it an injury .... this horrible affliction on anyone; it's very debilitating. Have to work on strengthening the muscles now as I've been doing everything left handed (right shoulder is afflicted) and have lost all strength in my right arm. But I am sooooo glad that I'm not in any pain anymore .
I'm making a stock pot full of green tomato chutney today. My neighbour pulled out her finished tomato plants but there were still quite a few unripe ones on the vines. Couldn't see them going to waste so chopped them all up with some apple and onion, vinegar and sugar, and it's now cooking up on the stove. Pity I won't get to eat any of it because it has sugar in it but I've had fun making it and will enjoy giving some of it away.
Eating today has been good so far. Started off the day with lemon juice in a glass of water. Then muesli for brekky, and minestrone soup with a little parmesan cheese + bread with avocado spread for lunch. Dinner is chicken stir-fry leftovers. No snacks so far.
