Sport Sweets....

Sport Fitness
Alright everyone. I have a question on sweets.

This is my eating scheduel so far;

---------------------

7:35am-Cereal, milk

9:40am -Sunflower seeds (about 1/4 of a cup)

11:00am/11:30am, 12:00 pm - Sandwich (1/3 of sandwich each interval), 2 glasses of milk

3:30pm - Piece of bread, a few pieces of sweets (??)

5:00pm - 2 pieces of Talipa fish, and whatever else
----------------------

There. That's it. My question is basically regarding sweets. I think I need them. Because, before I was worried WHAT I ate, but now I am worried WHAT I DONT eat. Because, if you look at the eating scheduel above, it doesn't look like I eat enough of fats, and calories, ect.

Any suggestions?

Don't eat sweets. Eat other foods with fat and calories. Meat, eggs, peanuts, milk, etc.

If you want a food with fat make sure its a food worth eating for other reasons.

"Sweets" typically are high in saturated, possibly trans, and usually have no additional nutritional value (unless you forbid carbs and sugar to enter your body- which you aren't).

Is it okay if I have about four little cookies everyday? THe reason I take it is because I think I need the sugar. The only source of sugar that I get is from my cereal in the morning, nothing more. And apparently, no sugar is bad. So is it k?

Drink a glass of juice or eat a piece of fruit. You'll get sugar, vitamins, and no fat.

Is it ok? It won't kill you so it must be ok, right? But a glass of juice would be better.

I disagree with that. Sugars from fruits, honey and milk are better off than highly refined sugar in general.

REALLY!? So...all this LOADED with sugar fruit,...is actually...good? Or better than the less loaded sugary sweets?

And, if I want to get lean, or toned, I should COMPLETELY stay away from candy, ect.?

How about cereal? Like, special k or something.

AND OH GOD NO! PUDDING TOO!?!?!

(Home made pudding??? )

Hey! Thank you VERY much! Now I can eat fruit AGAIN!!! OMG!!! :D :D

Yeah, I quit eating fruit for about 2 or 3 weeks....

But now, I can have THEM as my snack!! :D

Looks like you hate cooking and need to grab some bad food to save time. I hate cooking too.

Find a sale on a health bar that you like and stock up
Invest some big money on some good shakes (they cost a lot but they will last a long time so it evens out)

Now, when you are hungry grab a shake and mix in some penut butter to make it more filling. That is a great time to take creatine too.
If you need to run grab a candybar but remember that they are high in sugar.
Stop drinking so much lactose. Drink it with your cerial and your shakes and then leave it alone. You will turn into a cow.

Also you can buy a chocolate flavor shake and mix it with coffee for the ultimate pre workout meal or the worlds best first thing in the morning cup o coffee.

other fast grabs include
a can of tuna or sardines
bananas
bagels
brown rice (have it premade)
Carrots and broccolli
Cottage cheese
Remember to mix and match so each meal has some carbs and some protein and take 3 fish pills everyday so you wont need to worry about getting enough fats

just not candy- for reals yo. Candy is for children. You grow up you have food.

Keep in mind that I am 16 years old, and that I'm really not "HARDCORE" about this exercise thing..I mean, I workout, and try it eat my best, but come on, protein shakes, mixing peanut butter, half of the stuff you said where lost in translation. :p

lost in the translation huh? so I am speaking another languge. Perhaps my lamens terms are a tad rusty. allow me to try again

"grunt"

Candy= bad
good food = good

remember, fruit contains vitamins, minerals, and fiber. candy contains none of these.

plus the whole natural vs. refined sugars thing :)
