Cohen's Lifestyle Starting Cohens -my journey

Prefix for Cohen's Lifestyle
4 week mark!!! OK started at 113kg - today I weigh 101.5kg so down 11.5kg!! So that
is basically 3kg a week. I feel good and proud that I have kept to it. It all feels like a
great rountine and pattern at the moment and food is furthest from my mind. I am still struggling with getting organized with meals & sometimes things don't quite go to plan and I have to guess weights or I am late for a meal.... - but I continue to make that always the No1 prioty in the day and as long as I keep to that I am not stressing over all the other stuff that piles up. All that "stuff" ie office work, messy house, washing, overgrown garden, feral kids... - will always be there - but this is my chance to gain my health back and live longer so all the rest can just take a back seat!!!

Wow! Daleo, that is wonderful! Congratulations. You are a star!!!!! That's 1.5 kg more than my 1st month. On Cohen's you lose your weight as your body wants to lose it. You can't rush it yourself but it looks like your body is in a hurry to be slim! :D It is great to hear you giving yourself priority. We should all be doing so!

Thanks all for the congrats!! I was a bit suprised at how much came off - and must admit having days when I feel exhausted - but I try to head off to bed and get extra sleep. I think my body still adjusting to all this healthy eating and water.
 
By the way - still no one knows I am on this diet - I hav'nt even told my partner. Obviously he has noticed I am not eating take-away, but he still asks me if I want a wine
or some chips? I hav'nt even told my best friend as she does'nt like the idea of Cohen's - so I just told her I am cutting out all the crap food. For some reason I feel more empowered and in control if I am just doing it quietly and with no fuss. This is why I need this formum as I do need to share the jounrey and get all this wonderful support!!!- so again thankyou.

Hey Daleo, for a lot of us, it was easier to just stay quiet about the programme because people tend to impose their own opinions - it's like the word "diet" is a trigger. For me, I saw it more as a lifestyle change because it truly was. I cut out junk food, and most processed foods, and ate healthy fresh foods, never felt that I was starving - and lost weight! How great is that?? I think you're doing well on your journey!
 
Week 5 - not so good. Had a few moments when I chose to have an extra peice of fruit for the day and we went out unexpectatenly last night and I had a seafood dish with salad and no chips. I am not worried about that as I was controlled - but I have not been feeling energized and need to sit down and re read my goals and motivations. LIfe is so hectic but I find the worse when I am at home and have to do the office work......
