With all due respect, I don't ever base my recommendations on assumptions when speaking on a broad base. Doing so is down right fallacious.
You are assuming all people who eat at night are in a caloric surplus.
Tony and I merely stated the facts.
If you are in a caloric deficit, it doesn't matter how late you eat.
If you are trying to lose weight, eating in a caloric surplus is NEVER recommended. No matter what time of day.
Our point, at least I know my point was based on the fact that in order to lose weight, you MUST be in a caloric deficit. And as long as that variable is met, it does NOT matter when you eat.
I've helped a lot of people lose weight and the less "constraints" you place on people the better, IMO.
