Some progress.

Some progress....a picture record.

I was looking at my thread:
http://training.fitness.com/wellness/my-progress-log-35572.html

Although it has pics, it's also a log. I'm making this so I can see almost back to back pics.

2 years ago, religiously breakdancing and biking EVERYDAY:

October 1st:

Full body shots so you can see proportion (unflexed) :

Legs aren't as defined as usual because on rear thigh injury from biking, so they're looking rather uncut. But, I needed some pics to log my progress. Core however, because of biking, is looking nice from all the core work BMX riding requires. Pretty stoked as it's chewing away the body fat.

Opinions thus far???

WTF... WE HAVE THE SAME CAMERA.

aha, good stuff man. what kind of body weight exercises have you been doing lately? i'm still on the pull up/push up/crunch variation workouts. the vest i planned on buying costs a little bit more than i had hoped, so i'm not buying it at the moment. anyways, nice progress man. keep it updated.

I've cut back on the amount of pullups I've been doing since I'm also BMXing. Also, lowered the amount of things I've been doing because I'm using 20lbs ankle weights (10lbs per leg).

5 x 5 20lb weighted pull ups palms facing away normal width
5 x 3 20lb weighted pull ups palms facing away wide width
5 x 5 20lb weighted pull ups palms facing me normal width

10 x 4 feet elevated pushups using The Perfect Push-Up normal width, keeping elbows OUT

10 x 4 Push out Burpees

I put the ankle weights in my hands and do 40 yards x 3 of walking lunges with a tip toe transition while "resting" between the sets for burpees and feet elevated push-ups. And when walking back to the bench after finishing the 40 yards, curl the weights since they're in my hands rather than just walk back.

To work the obliques/core, I stand in a T shape (arms out) with the ankle weights and do twists really focusing on making my core do the stopping and starting of the twists. It really makes your core burn.

When I get home, sometimes I do contra lateral core stabilization...but usually I go biking for 2-3 hours right after my routine since I'm already sweaty. It also serves as good cardio and burns the fat.

I've lightened my routine so I still have energy to ride.

Well, today was the end of my "rest period" from my injured shoulder. Sucky.

Anyways, since I'm having to restart after like a 3 week break, here are some pics to kinda get myself back on track.

I want to get my chest bigger. Everything seems to be getting larger, except my chest... this body is my goal:

Maybe I need to take some pics all wet or sweaty and see how far off I really am

You're ripped enough and you look WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better now than the guy in your goal pic. That anorexic look isn't attractive. Don't let the fashion industry dictate to you what you should look like!

Given the choice between Mr. Model and you, I'll take you every time ;)

It's easy enough for you to add some muscle to your pecs. Are you really sure you want to lose more bodyfat?

:mrright:
Thanks!!!!

Well, I feel like my skin is still a little thick. Looking at some of the peoples on here the skin looks paper thin, as does that guys. Hmm, I kinda don't know where to go....but I know I want to gain some more mass and STAY lean.

no no no no no no no

You have body dysmorphic disorder if you think you have "thick skin" :D

Maybe you need to get your eyes checked ... or maybe a new mirror ;)

:mrright:
Thanks!!!!

Dude, you are doing a great job! Don't worry what others look like. everyone has a different genetic makeup so comparing isn't really a good way to assess how you are doing.

Compare to yourself.

You're rockin' it though!

Keep it up!

Thanks a bunch guys!!!

It's hard to not compare to others, cause like anything, you aspire to what's perceived as successful or what has worked for others.

I guess I just have to keep cranking it out. I'm not training near as hard because of the shoulder injury kinda freaking me out. I can tell as it's a bit more sore than the other muscles in my upper body. I did some push-ups yesterday and realized I lost a lot of strength comparative to a couple weeks back. Looks like my resting intervals will now be 2 days instead of the every other. Suck.

With the information I gave you in the other thread, and the information I sent you, what have you decided to do with you diet?

Best regards,
