Socks, any ideas?

Go and get fitted for a good pair. You wont regret it. As for socks, you cant go past thorlos.

Awesome, another Thorlos fan!

Have you tried their anti-fatigue socks? They're really good at preserving your legs.

But yes, I would say that as far as socks go, Thorlos are probably the best money can buy.

(You don't want to know what you'd have to do for a better pair)

Socks don't really make that much of a difference as long as they are sport socks.
Make sure your shoes are not worn out.
I love new balance.

I ran my first 30km last sunday, pretty hilly, 2h41m... is that a reasonable time?
I also got some serious blisters, especially between my toes and more so on the outside of my little toes. I believe it is the shoes but can it possibly be something else

Any advice anybody?

I guess you could put that running Glide on your feet to prevent blistering. I use it on other "hot spots" works dandy.

Google it, cheap stuff, life saver.

thorlo socks tend to be well padded and breathable and also i would recommend 'X-Socks' these come with a warranty so any tears etc u get a new pair!! again engineered fit aswell as comfort.
