ok here goes started again!

going to start just eating sensibly

walking the dogs once a day uphill and down getting my heart racing:eek:
i hate that feeling - i dont know if anyone suffers with anxiety but i kind of panic when i feel my heart beat and i cant breath - but i just have to tell myself its normal! at least i think it is lol

got weighed this morning and miraculously i am the same 219!

so here goes my journey to be able to wear strappy tops in summer without being ashamed of my bingo wings:D and i jsut cant wait to wear short skirts again - i used to have fantastic legs but havent showed them for ages:(


positive positive ! at least i am this morning lets hope it lasts:rolleyes:

Hey sweetie!! Yay!!! It's nice to see you all motivated this morning!! I have panic attacks and suffer from anxiety too!! You will be fine.. just know that if you have an anxiety attack.. you will be fine.. They can't hurt you!! I tried to holler at ya last night and you didn't answer.. Hopefully I'll catch you tonight! I would turn MSN on right now but I am just getting on long enough to check out some calorie info! Talk to you tonight! Hope your getting your water in!! :D

Great title to your new journal! :) Keep that positive attitude up you are doing so great. And you are not alone, I suffer from panic attacks also, mainly geared towards my health, so yes I know exactly what you mean ! You can get through that, and just remember the more you lose, the better shape you'll be in, the easier the breathing will get!

Hi Sez! Lovin' the title!!! Sounds like you are off to a great start this year, Love the plan to just be sensible. With so many crazy diets out there it is so easy to get trapped into doing things that are just as unhealthy as we started with. I too decided to start my new year focusing on just making healthy choices instead of worrying about the exact calories and such. If I eat a sensible diet and stay active then I will get healthier. So, here we go!!! Oh, what exactly is "bingo wings"?? That had me rolling!

you know if you hold your arm up its the bit that hangs down under the top of your arm - mine are bad looks like i might take off in flight if i flapped em:p


bingo wings Noun. Fatty, folds of flesh on the underarms of overweight women, who might commonly be seen at Bingo nights.

did you win your monopoly game ? when we play we usually only get 1/2 way before the kids, hubby included start fighting over who is cheating and never finish the game lol.
 
yes we finished - hubby won suprisingly enough - he was hanging on to all his property and not giving anyone a chance and gloating and counting his money like scrooge - i swear men are just big kids!:rolleyes:

My mother was a huge bingo gal. When I was a freshman in college I lived at home and my mother "bingo-ed" every Monday. I would drop her off and then have the car all to myself. When I returned to pick her up they were never finished so I would go inside and sit by her, just amazed at the sight. I eventually wrote a paper about the sights at the bingo hall for my Freshman English class. I wish I'd had the term "bingo wings," but I do recall talking about how those bingo addicts had one arm that was bigger than the other due to the over exercise of the "dabbing arm."

Well what an awful start to my diet!:(

drank enough water that was fine
breakfast banana and 2 mandarins
lunch small jacket spud with tuna

went to safeways to get loads of veg for tea planned on having chicken and savoy cabbage and carrots

then it all went horribly wronggggggggggg!!!!!:eek:
got home at 6.30 thought i would prepare dinner ready for hubby coming home at 8ish - pah! i get a phone call - my husband says get the immigration papers and come to taber straight away we have to sort our residency out now - we are applying for residency here in canada....
so in a mad panic im trying to find all the documents - most which i havent filled in and passports etc - picked hubby up then arrived at Taber (his work) at 8.30 - i was starving the kids hadnt eaten and we had to go to his works office to sort this out which would take a couple of hours so i had no choice but to grab something quick

so for tea i had
kentucky twister and fries:mad:

good start eh?
 
Hey hey it was only one meal!! :) You are doing fine! :) Tomorrow is a brand new day. Sorry to hear about all the ru shing about. If it comforts you any, my DH brought home reeses peanut butter cups for me last night!! Just one has 480 calories. What was he thinking?!

So tomorrow you are off again on a good start. Don't worry and don't toss in the towel over one meal! :)

Maybe in the future in that situation again you could just eat half of what you ordered versus the whole meal! :) See it snot all bad!

Hey, the best way to look at it is to remember that life throws you curve balls, and that even as you get to goal, there's gonna be twisters and fries on the menu at times. But it doesnt mean your going to quit, or that youll gain a bunch of weight!

So I say, so long as its occasional, and not constant, the weight will still come off! Dont forget that your diary reflects all the great choices you made earlier in the day, OK?

ahhhh you girls are starssss;)

i really didnt want the kfc and i didnt enjoy it cos i felt bad - i was just so chuffing hungry :p

im still in the diet frame of mind it hasnt sent me back that way;)
 
Hey sweetie! I totally understand where your coming from.. This morning I met a friend for breakfast.. I didn't order the sweet tea that I normally do.. I brought my water in instead.. So since my breakfast was 600 calories I planned out the rest of my day.. So then here comes my sis.. who I hadn't seen in almost a year asking me to go to walmart.. before I knew it we was at Long Johns.. and I ordered fish to go with the 600 cal. from before.. So now when it is all said and done with.. I have only 300 calories I can have the rest of the day! We have to keep going ya know.. we can't let this curve in the road de-rail us from our diets! Today is a new day and I hope your doing alot better!

hehe i know christina but i didnt even make it through the first day - oh well :eek:
