Sarah's Diary

Oh and I forgot to mention that I had Weight Watchers last night and was down 1 pound. That seems to be the trend, exactly 1 pound a week. Nice and slow is good but it feels like it's going to take forever....oh well....see ya later

Just think the slower the weight comes off the more likely it is to stay off. You're doing great keep it up!

Dinner: Lean Pocket Ultra Ham n Cheese & 1 cup of LIpton Noodle Soup

Snack: 1/2 c. lowfat cottage cheese with 1/2 c. pears

See ya tomorrow night....I thought I'd be able to sleep in today but no such luck...I have to do a chair massage community service event for 5 hours at the mall (maybe I can get something new to wear :) he he )

Saturday wasn't very good :( Started out just fine and then it went down hill from there...

Breakfast ... Oatmeal, raisins, brown sugar

Then I was at the mall from 10-4 doing a Massage Community Service event .

Ended up at Ruby Tuesday's for a late lunch/early dinner. Had the salad bar and I wasn't bad with that ...used just a little light ranch dressing. Then I ordered a burger....only ate half of it, no fries. So I guess it wans't horrible but it sure as heck felt like it.

Then went shopping for around 3 hours and stopped at Arby's for dinner at 8...had a Jr. Roast Beef.

All in all not horrible. Just went out way too much!

Got a new book though...the Body Sculpting Bible for Women, it's an excellent book. So today I'm starting their 14 day meal/exercise plan.

Sunday:

Breakfast : 1 scoop Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein Shake
8 oz. Skim Milk
1 Banana

Hoping I get good results from this plan. I like trying new things. The book is great...it's an excellent investment...got it for around 17 dollars. See ya later for the rest of my day ....

Here's the rest of Sunday:

Lunch: 2/3 c. cooked Brown Rice
2.8 oz of Albacore Tuna in Water
1/2 an orange pepper

Dinner: 6" Roast Beef Sub on Wheat with no dressing from Subway

Snack: 1 Protein Shake using the powder and milk listed in previous entry
6 almonds

Workout: WeighTraining with 10 min cardio following the bodysculpting bible for women

Im really looking forward to reading your diary for the next two weeks. Im excited for you. Good luck with it.

Back on Track

I have been away from Weight Loss Forum for quite some time, probably since January. I have been maintaining my weight though, I just haven't had time with work and school and everything in between. But.... I'm back.

I'm still at 140, I think that's where I left off from before. I'm currently training for my first 5K which will be on June 19th?...Father's Day. I'm so very excited. Yesterday I went to Barnes and Noble and bought a really nice journal for working out and also started officially working out again. I ate wonderfully yesterday and worked my tri's, pec's, and delt's. I was so proud of myself.

Although I am extremely exhausted....45 hours of work a week, and 40 hours of school a week are getting to me....I am ready to get serious and lose my final 30 pounds!

Today I am going to the city to buy a squat rack with my bf, and that will definitely help with my goals. I'm moving in October and I told him I refuse to move until I weigh 110 pounds. It'll be a treat for me, a new house, a new body. So let the journey begin again....

Food for today (so far)...I'll add more later tonight.

1 c. Kashi cereal
8 oz. Skim milk
1/2 c. homemade Trail mix (nuts, almonds, dried fruit, etc.)
1/2 c. Low Fat cottage cheese
1 c. baby carrots

I guess that's all for now, I'll be back later though....after I've done my workout and finished today's food.

No motivation

Oh goodness. I had a horrible weekend. Well I enjoyed it a little too much I mean. I had family in town for the weekend and I had to entertain, which meant eating out way too much! Not only that but I had my Birthday party on Sunday, which meant cake, which means bad news.

Tomorrow is my 21st Birthday and I would love for it to be my turn-around point. I just need to get down right serious and stick with it! I want to lose these last 30 pounds, and I need to before October. I have all of the information and I know what I need to do, I just feel like I can't do it. If I was rich I'd hire a personal trainer to make me get my ass up and do it...but that's not going to happen right now. I love working out and everything, I just have no energy. I spend way too much time at school and work and by the time I get home I'm exhausted and want to pass out. And in the morning I'm dragging myself out of bed. If anyone has any good ideas please let me know .... I don't want to use caffeine!
