Hello everyone!

My name is Oleg, I'm 25 years old.
When i was 20, my weight started to grow up higher and higher. At this time my weight is 253,8 lbs (115,6 kg).
After this point, some days ago I have decided to start my hard work of fat-losing.

I live in Russia. At our country so very difficult to find forums where man can communicate about weight-losing, because it's a privelege of womens.
In russian zone of Internet are hundred threads about diets and fitness for girls, but if you will tell that you are man who wanna to lose your weight, your neighbours and friends will look at you like you are some kind of odd and crazy.

That is why I start my diary here and in advance, sorry for my English if it has some mistakes)
I just wanna to become more healthy and lose my excess weight, thats all. I'm ready to work at myself!

I'll write you about my programm and about my progress at next posts! Nice to meet you, WLF!

So, some words about my program.

It includes 6 main elements:

1. Power Training - to grow up muscles. Than more muscles you have - than more fat you can burn witn them. Also, I dont wanna to turn in thin tall thing, I want to have a strong man figure.

2. Aerobic Training - main weapon in my war VS fat. Jogging in the forest and at the stadium.

3. Chemistry. To have faster results, I'm using some kinds of fat-destroyers and thermogenics.

4. Food diet. Its a meaningful part too. If you will have a lot of powerful trainings but not control your food, you will become a monster, giant mountain of meat, fat and muscles. That is not beautiful. That is why I must to control what I coming to eat.

5. Thermal session at saunas - good instrument which can help to lose weight additionaly, Also, saunas is a good way to relax after hard trainings.

6. Mind changing. To lose weight for one time is a bad target. I wanna to have good health for years - ant to reach this, i must to gorrect my psychology.

That is my 6 basic elements of weight-losing.
Now, I'm waiting for your comments!

First day.

Yesterday was my first day of "New Life" :)

I went to the sports shop and have bought a thermal suit for jogging. It keeps your T on high level while you run, and helps to burn your fat faster.

After this i went to product shop and get some low-calory food) That was some tomatos, apricots, apples, low fat milk, a bottle of kefir, fitness corn flakes, and turkey meat.

I took all of this to my house, wear on thermal suit and went to stadium.

For 1-st day i wanted to run 3 km, but my body thought another way. After 1,6 km i understood that i feel bad, my feet pains and it's so hard just to breath for me. I did some more exersises and ending the training.

For supper i have some apricots and fresh water.

Today, when i wake up and stand on the scales, i have FIRST WEIGHT LOSS!
I've lost 2,1 kg! (4,1 lbs!)

For my breakfast i have a little bowl of corn flakes with low-fat milk. After this i went to my job.

Also, in continue of my story, I want to say some words about my work.

I'm a business trainer, coach councellor in sales management. My main task is leading training events with sales-managers of any levels from our customers.

I have leading business trainings for some years, and at the last time i begin to notice that my high weight begomes a really bad obstacle for me and my career. My physical form dont give me to be mobile, action man with as high energy level as I possible have to. Sometimes I feel that i even don't have enough air in my lungs to finish any long sentence which i speak.

My job is very meaning for me and that's one more reason to make steps for healthful life.

you're on the right track dude , never get weaken and try to find supporters because it will help you a lot ,
i also have chosen running as my favorite sport , when i began i was running like 3 kms and then get exhausted but now i run for longer distances (7-11 kms - i stop sometimes ofc ) regulary 2-3 kms in row without stopping , i began it all with food diet till i became 90 kgs (lost 12 kgs) then i went to gym and running ,
btw what kind is your sports shoes type? as for me i went with lightweight training shoes (a bit more weight than running but it's very durable and comfortable)
my advice is not doing strict regime , eat whatever you want but in smaller amount , count calories well and don't make yourself hungry , if you went on strict regime you will lose weight fast but then you will gain what you've lost and even more , i took 1 year and 3 months to lose 29 kgs , but now i feel like my current ideal food system is the regular and it's not annoying to me anymore that i stopped eating a lot of un healthy food .
keep it up and keep telling us with your achievement in your progress ( sorry for my bad english )

Thank you for advices, Mi7asanin!

That was main reason, why I've registered at this forum: to find supporters and people who have interest in theme of weight-losng)

I love running too, because 3 years ago I already have expirience of fat-burning. So, I can tell that I'm not definitely novice at this :) At those times i became 101.2 kgs from 116.7 kgs, and that is my own record. As i can remember, i have started run from 1 km and after some months I've increased distance to 9 km in my best days! That was cool...

But after this was work routine, business-trips, a lot of office chair-work... My trainings was abandoned and my kilos have returned.

This time my first target is 99 :) I don't remember when i've seen two-digit number at my scales...

My optimal BIG TARGET is 80-82 because that is my optimal weight (I'm 25 years old and 182 santimeters height)
But at this moment, that final destination looks like so faaar faaar...
But I dont give up! :)

You asked a right question about my shoes. I use pretty heavy soccer boots, which doesnt optimal for comfort running. May be that is one of the reasons why i feel pain at my feet after 1-2 kms.

To count callories is also good advice, i'm doing it with my iPad application for callories)

Also, i should study to eat lesser quality of food per 1 time. I have already bought special little bowl for this)

Thank you for you post, and you english is good at my oppinion, dont worry about it ;)

Okay, thats time for my dinner! And today i have 20 little fresh apricots and 1 liter of 0% yoghurt.
I will eat this by little portions in next some hours.

Thanks, bro! I think, I really should buy good lightweight training shoes for running) I'll do it at nearly weekend and will write about my impressions of new shoes)

And I have not feeling hunger yet. Yet :)
Fruits and vegetables save me from it)

That's only 2-nd day) So eager to see what will be later)

Okay, guys, thats time to resume my "Apricots and yoghurt day" :)
Yesterday evening finished for me with 1 bottle of fresh water. Today i woke up and stand on the scales and... 2,3 kilos lost!!! Thats 4,4 kilos total! Certainly, i understand that these first kilos may be just surplusses of water which was gone away from my body, but... Anyway that makes me happier! :)

For the breakfast today a have a bowl of fitness cornflakes with low-fat milk.

Today will be a training day. So interesting, will I can to do 3 kilometers of unstopable running today? We will see.

I. Did. It.
I have done 3 kilometers of running! But that wasn't easy)
I will not be a liar and I tell you that it was not 3 kilometers of UNSTOPABLE running.

First 2 km's was unpredictable easy and I done it very well.
After this I have felt burning pain at my feets. I stopped for 1 minute and massaged them. After this yet more 300 meters of running. Stoped and massaged again. 300 meters more. One breather more.
Last 400 meters was a crasy dash with all my remaining energy) And I've done it!

For now, my feets are burning, my kneels are paining, but I'm happy)

For supper I'll have 2 bottles of low-fat yoghurt and a lot of fresh water. I need it now)

Now I'm going to sleep.
Before laying to bed i did one '"not very good" thing: i have eaten a 200G can of sprats in tomato sauce.
That was a little wish of little fish :)
So I've allowed this one for me. Wanna to see, what will scales tomorrow show for me...

The 4-th day of my weight-losing has begun!
Scales shows me that I've lost 400 grams more! Summary for 3 last days my result in 110,8 from 115,6 kilos.
I think if I didn't eat sprats yesterday before sleep and if portion of turkey meat was some lesser, I can lose more weight)

I'm planning to do this day a fruit day. Some apples, peaches and apricots will be good)
At my breakfast I have a little bowl of corn flakes for fitness. Now I'm going to my job.

5-th day begins for me with a power-training) For power-training I'm working with dumbbells. 3 series of 15 exercises for muscles and 1 for cardio. After this, again, 3 series for strong and power, 1 for cardio. And so 7 times. One my training lasts for 1,5 hours.

And my scales show me 110,2 kilos for today! That means that i have lost 600 g for yesterday! And 5,4 kilos from start! Go-go-go! Dont stop :)

Guys. One more thing i must tell to all of you)
After my power training I have gone to stadium for some running...

AND I DID THAT!!! 3 KILOMETERS OF UNSTOPABLE RUNNING!!!

At 1-st km I thought that I'll can't.
At 2-nd km I thought that I'll die)
At 3-rd km I thought that I'm feelimg the best of my own and my second breath just have been opened!

And that was so cool. Guys, I'm so happy...

For dinner today I allowed for me 2 fried eggs and 1 sausage. Without butter or bread. And one fresh tomato) Tomatore saves me from eating bread, cakes, fat meat and another unhealthy food :)

Hello guys!
After some days I've returned to you.

Last 4 days was holidays in our country, we celebrated Russia Day.
There are was a lot of fried meat, coca-cola and ice cream.
Me and my wife have had very nice holidays but eaten too much unhealthy food.

Today, my scales shows me +2 kilos of my weight. :(

But I don't give up. Holidays ends, and today will be yoghurt day for losing weight)

After working day, I'm going to training with dumbbells.

And even at holidays, I didnt forget about my trainings! At 13-th of June i went to stadium and run 3 kilometers again. And i did it! This time it was hard only at 2-nd kilometer, but pain has gone away very fast.

And, Mi7asanin, I followed your advice and bought very good adidas shoes for running! They are very light and comfortable :)

Now time to burn those 2 kilos I've get at holidays!
