Sympathies and fellow-feeling! With me, it's crackers, including rice crackers - the fairly recent discovery (I mean by me, not by humanity!) of seaweed "leaves" has been useful in this regard. Oh, and celery!I do have a habit of sitting in front of my computer screen and mindlessly eating,
Alert, alive...
Hopefully we can all help each other through this.
Life is better with a dog!

Your description of your run triggered it for me, but it really just sums up my mood at the time. You may have been referring to the coronavirus but this feeling on my runs is what it's all about.
Hi Rob,
It's been awhile. Many of you have asked when I planned on getting back to Summer Tomato, and in my mind it's soon! The logistics have been more challenging, but I do hope to get back to at least the podcast as soon as I can.
In the meantime though, I'm stuck at home like the rest of you with no childcare, trying to figure out how to get dinner on the table every night. I'm so grateful that I have a stocked pantry (always) and know how to whip something up from basically anything.
As I sit here thinking about how I can help our global community get through these difficult times, I realize that being able to cook has never been a more essential life skill and I want to help as many people as I can.
For the rest of the month, I'll be offering my Foodist Kitchen course for free to whomever needs it. Simply use the code COVID19 at checkout.
With limited shopping options, the program won't be exactly as I intended it for you. But it will get you the fundamentals you need to be able to cook for yourself with what you have.
To join, just visit Foodist Kitchen and enter code COVID19. And please share this with anyone you think could use it.
Hope to see you there!
Cheers,
Darya
I love that! I´ve seen fitness folks offer their classes online for now as well, but I don´t know if they´re free.
Yes, it really did! I may be late to the party, but I'm enjoying the (vegie fingerfood) buffet!I like seaweed too and doesn't it feel good when you stumble upon those things?
I know you have your own ideas about this but I would advise you to stop running and start walking before you reach this point. When you're tightening all your muscles coordination goes out of the window.I made it about 8 miles but I was clenching everything toward the end, hands in tight fists, shoulders scrunched, my mind consumed with the thought of it stopping me again.
