Hmmm, my diet used to be very precise and regimented but at the moment I'm skint so every day I have to improvise (2 weeks till pay day :))

I always make Chicken and Ham sandwiches for work, the Chicken breast I cook the night before. These make up about 800 Kcals. Today I have 1,000 cals worth of nuts and raisins to graze on throughout the day. My Dinner tonight will be home made fish pie and be about 600 cals. I'll also eat fruit as and when. I have one or two protein shakes sometimes, depending on where my calories are at, they have about 400cals.

That diet doesn't actually look all that great but my diet has adapted over the last 12 months so I now only really have one genuine meal a day, the rest of the time I'm constantly eating (my sandwiches can last the whole working day). The longest break I have from eating during the day is my gym session which takes an hour

At home I have some nuts, seeds and eggs to graze on if my calories allow it and I also have WM bread to make toast and natual PB if I want something warm to eat

I'm also on that clean eating challenge now so I have nothing 'un-clean' like sweets in my diet

Sounds goood CCR, im skint aswell, cant afford anything ATM really (payday tuesday :) but i do munch on nuts, but not enough.

From payday ima track cals etc as i can get all my food i need.

A good way of getting good quality cheap Chicken breast is to go to Sainsbury's and buy their packs of frozen 'mini' breast fillets. I think it's just the off cuts of larger breasts but the packs are something like 900g for only £3 and the quality is good

I seem to eat a hell of a lot of Chicken these days so I need to buy cheap without resorting to the disgusting stuff they sell in Iceland

All the money I save on Chicken is invested in buying top quality eggs. The difference between the best eggs and economy is huge

Cheers again man, yea i was buying packs of chicken breast strips from asda but i really love my fresh cooked chicken aswell! Im really gonna step this **** up a level starting from payday, and when i sort my lifting routine out ill be sorted.

Same i hate em, how do you think i feel!
My rest days have been too often over the last week, i feel horrible man. Why did my gym have to close!?, its ruined my life.

Might aswell start trying to dodge cars on the motorway :(

I did go to the gym today, not to lift anything but to do a bit of cardio and show those little bunnys how an obese man runs ;)

I'm back up to 230lbs so I'll need to look more closely at my diet, I bet it was those organic rice cakes I had last night

p.s. Someone please remind me next week that cardio sucks so I don't make the same mistake again, thanks

I have a scheduled bloody rest day today, how annoying, I hate rest days.

Agreed. It will be worth it, though!

I missed my rest day this past week. It was for a good reason, honest! But today was day #11 for me since my last rest day, and I let me tell you...I'm starting to miss it!

Don't worry - there is always tomorrow...

I tried updating my log yesterday but the site was down for a good hour so I didn't have the chance to post the workout details.

A very brief summary

-People taking up equipment for a long time, screwed up order of my workout
-High reps suck, I felt dizzy and sick at the end

-High reps suck, I felt dizzy and sick at the end

Just to clarify, that was said with tongue in cheek, high reps don't suck it's just that I haven't done them much for so long I honestly fealt close to colapse towards the end

Deadlifts
3x12 @ 220lbs

Lat Pulldowns
3x12 @ Can't remember about 170lbs I think

Cable Row
3x12@165 (I actually missed a few reps here, the lat pulldowns killed my biceps)

Face Pulls
2x10 @ 143lbs

Single Leg Rom Deadlifts
2x10 @ 66lbs

Bicep Curls
2x15 @ 66lbs (missed a few reps here too)

All in all I found this session easier to cope with than yesterday but for some reason the lat pulldown kills my biceps and hardly touches my lats, is this an imbalance?

Not really, just a bit wider than shoulder width

My biceps were sore on Saturday, it's very unusual for me to get DOMS, it seems my body struggles with high rep pull days

I'm feeling almost too tired to post now, calorie deficits suck, I'm now 227lbs, that's about 6lbs lost in about 3 weeks and I'm really feeling it, I also think I've lost a little size off my arms which is quite distressing

*DB Chest Press
3x6 @ 176 (Failed final rep on last set)

*BB Push Press
3x6@110 (failed final rep on last set)

*Performed as a set

Squats
3x6 @ 286

Cable Trunk Twists
2x10 @ 35kg

The depressing thing right now is that while I'm losing weight I can't see myself adding to my lifts. At this rate though I'll be down near 220lbs by the end of the month so I might be able to start a calorie surplus again but with a super clean diet

I'm really starting to drop the fat now, it's a bit worrying as I hate the idea of being thin again but my abs are starting get their definition back now. I think if I can maintain as much strength as possible over the next couple of weeks and drop a few more pounds I'll be looking better and can go full throttle in December to blast through that 400lb DL mark
