Calories consumed: 1570/1500

It was a usual day of eating except i had a lot of yogurt as a substitute to condiments and oranges. Feel pretty full at the end of the day though so thats good ^^

9! oranges?! I love oranges but that's a lot :rotflmao: Sounds delicious though.

Well what can i say i love my citrus fruits ^~^

Nothing really special today except maybe i had a little more condiments than i could have had.

:) I'm not complaining. Fruit sure beats cookies and chips! But yogurt gives ya protein, that's nice too.

Yup also lol there used to be a time when i would only have yogurt for some days because its nice and refreshing during the summers especially with seeds and bananas ^^

I love fruit too :) 1.5kg gone already? Well done!

Thanks a bunch ^~^ You know im thinking of maybe going on a water fast tomorrow since its Sunday and i wanna see how much i weigh with all my glycogen burnt up and on a completely empty stomach. Also im thinking of switching my carb count to between 80 and 100 grams since im not really doing much exercise anyways.

Hey Q, looking good! I like citrus as well, but probably never had 9 oranges in a day.

Thanks, Bob! Also its kinda become a habit in my family where we have some days where we just eat fruit and nothing else haha
 
My body doesn't like fasting at all but to each their own. I can see how it would be interesting though! Take care and good luck.
 
That's a fast I could cope with. I love fruit! I woke up this morning after having done a 500 cal "fast" yesterday & felt like doing another. My husband has yummy food planned for the day so in the interests of harmonious relationships, I thought I had better not. Happy Sunday!

Calories Consumed: 336/1500

Just had three guavas today since i didnt really feel like eating much anyways. Tomorrow i might only eat fruit since i dunno why its all i want to eat right now. Maybe i will throw in a little boiled chicken or an egg.

That's a fast I could cope with. I love fruit! I woke up this morning after having done a 500 cal "fast" yesterday & felt like doing another. My husband has yummy food planned for the day so in the interests of harmonious relationships, I thought I had better not. Happy Sunday!

I find fasts really easy when i make the time pass by just sleeping or studying haha. There was one point in my life when i would barely eat at all since i had a slight eating disorder and didnt really have much nutritional knowledge. But now i can comfortably and safely fast whenever i need to ^^

In my earlier days of dieting i found out that fasting usually moved me on to my next level of weight loss. For example in one week id be floating around 115-117kg. Like those would be my lowest and highest numbers for that time frame and the weight would usually stay at the lower threshold. But then id fast for a day or go OMAD for two days and that lower threshold would be my new higher threshold and th elower would be say 113kg and that would be mu range for the next couple days. I know its weird but it always worked like that for me in these little timeframes and wouldnt change until i fasted or something of the like.

I have not tried the IF thing, but listening to people like Flyer, and now you has me thinking about it. In the past I tried fasting a few times, once for a full week, but all fasts ended in serious binges and lead to weight gain. That experience has me a bit nervous about it, though I understand a planned IF thing is very different.

I wasn't really surprised about todays morning weigh in since i knew had only 300 calories the day before and all my glycogen had been depleted and most of my water was unbound. Other than that i really gotta lay off the condiments since they made the difference between going over the calorie limit.

I have not tried the IF thing, but listening to people like Flyer, and now you has me thinking about it. In the past I tried fasting a few times, once for a full week, but all fasts ended in serious binges and lead to weight gain. That experience has me a bit nervous about it, though I understand a planned IF thing is very different.

Well the thing about fasting is that it should not be done long term. I really would not recommend for more than 2 days since unless its for other medical reasons. You are right about the whole thing leading to binge eating and all which is one reason i dont recommend it for weight loss. Other than that its also one of the most unsafe ways to lose weigh because most of the time you will be losing muscle mass due to no protein consumption and you will just end up becoming skinny fat or just a lighter version of your current fast. What a fast should be is like a gateway or a force kickstart into a safer diet. For example if you are doing the keto diet then a two day fast would probably be the fastest thing to get you into ketosis or if youre looking to start a diet from scratch and want to find your starting weight then a one day diet can show you how much you weigh without all your glycogen. But yeah for weightloss theres a lot more safer and better ways to get about it without making you miserable in the process. The most optimal would be OMAD and that too with a balanced diet and no less than 1200 calories. If only I had the discipline to do that everyday ^^'

A pretty standard day today except instead of vegetables i just had 600 calories worth of pasta and then some homemade chicken tenders. Maybe i could have had some more fruit to add more calories but i though that i would have extra fruit tomorrow. Overall it was a good day ^^
 
:) That´s a lot of pasta! You seem to have a tendency to eat a lot of mostly one thing on any one day. Is that a time saving thing?

Pretty slow day as usual. Had a bit too much bread today so that was a mistake haha

:) That´s a lot of pasta! You seem to have a tendency to eat a lot of mostly one thing on any one day. Is that a time saving thing?

Well basically my mom usually cooks one big pot of food for me and my two siblings as well as my dad and its meant to last the whole day so thats usually all i get to eat unless i eat fruit
 
9! oranges?! I love oranges but that's a lot :rotflmao:....

i thought i had heard one time that it takes about 9 oranges to make a tall glass of orange juice, so i started to Google "how many oranges does it take..." and the #1 Google hit without completing the question was... "... to kill you" ...!!

Ah, now I understand. The more you know. Also: maybe don´t eat 11,000 oranges :rotflmao: I wonder if it would be physically possible to eat that many in the time needed for it to be deadly. Because I assume they don´t mean 11,000 in a lifetime.

it equates to an OD on Vitamin C ... yeah, there were a few at that site that would be physically impossible... like eating 48 lbs of marijuana. yet it apparently only takes 18 apple seeds.

Was a slow day today but i managed to get in enough calories in the form of rice and lentils and God knows i hate lentils haha. This whole self quarantine has really got me going crazy and now since all my exams and classes are postponed i dont even know what to do. It sucks big time lol
