Have fun tonight! Don't have so much fun that you lose tomorrow, though.

16 miles is a long walk, hope you have good walking shoes!

1600 sounds right to me too. You are much more active than lightly active Hana. I'm glad Hil didn't curse you :D
Edit- I somehow missed that you were going out for work drinks. Hope it didn't end badly hon :ack2:

I was a bad, bad Sunflower.

We will not be walking anywhere today - gonna go first thing tomorrow morning instead. A few drinks turned into all the drinks (and sambuca...why the sambuca?!). Did my usual thing of horribly oversharing with work colleagues (good job I'm leaving, har harrr) and then getting home hammered and sexually assaulting my bewildered husband (who quite enjoyed it, really) and falling asleep with half a cheese quesadilla on my face.

However, silver lining is that I have been reminded WHY I am not drinking like a mental person anymore as today is now a write off, I have cravings for salty junk food and will be doing no steps for my weekend challenge unless I get on my trampoline (which I will do once I can be bothered to find a bra. I'm currently still in PJ's...trampoline and no bra is not a winning combination.)

Urghhhh, for shaaaaaame.

No idea about calories yesterday - I had battered halloumi and chips at the pub and then Yank fed me various things until I passed out. He's a good chap. Steps were good though! 16,000 for the day. Weigh in tomorrow so plan for today is eat under 1500 and drink lots of water!!

Today has been marvellous. Woke up bright and breezy and went on a massive hike. I walked around my whole island which is around 16 miles and took the best part of 6 hours as the terrain is really uneven so it was quite slow going. Here are some photos! We did just under 36,000 steps so had a pub lunch and 2 glasses of wine afterwards. Am stuffed so calories likely to stay at around 1700 for the day. Here are some photos :)

Opps - week 3 update!

Week One: 199lbs to 194.5lbs (-4.5)
Week Two: 194.5lbs to 191.5 (-3)
Week Three: 191.5lbs to 190 (-1.5)

Not thrilled, 1.5lbs isn't fantastic but it's a healthy amount to lose and I did have an excessive night out on Friday! Will take any loss at this point! 9lbs down in total in 3 weeks. Looking forward to the 180's next week, I hope!

Honey... I know you want to be thin right now but a pound and a half in a week is objectively awesome when you´re not extremely overweight. Really! Congratulations!

Thanks gorgeous ladies. I am pleased with my 1.5lbs - hoping for a twofer for week 4 but we will see. This week is my last week at work so have lots to organise and feeling a little pressured. Food was a little off yesterday so not logging it as I ate it all without checking cals but would be guessing anyway. I imagine it was around the 2000 mark as I had around 300 for breakfast, 900 for lunch and then two halloumi rolls in the evening (plus the wine with lunch..) probably over 2000. Never mind.

Will post food later.

1.5 lbs is definitely some good news! Glad/sorry you had fun at your Good Riddance Party, and I really like the pics. I like that pic one clearly shows a flight path from the 3 contrails.

Thanks LJ :)

Feeling very hungry this eve so heading to bed soon. I've had some weird symptoms this last week and my doctor lost my wee sample (where are you, jar of wee?) so heading back tomorrow for take two so they can send it to the lab. Worried that it seems a little diabetes like.. up to pee in the night, thirsty a lot, tired etc. We shall see. I've never had a blood test before and am really frightened of needles so think I will struggle to have blood taken if I need to..maaaah. Anyway, hopefully I'm just a bit run down. I did a lot of walking today but ate a little too much..

...or maybe it´s your liver regenerating. You never know, so try not to worry until the weeman checks his treasures.

Or maybe a UTI.....I've had one for a while now & on my 3rd dose of antibiotics. Have a good day today sweets xoxo

This made me crack up! I managed to wee all over my hand as well so that was super.

Cate - I thought a UTI as well..never had one before so wasn't sure about the symptoms. Went to GP again this morning and he is now saying a kidney infection possibly and has given me some silly strong antibiotics that are likely to make me feel dizzy, sick and "generally crap" as he eloquently put it. I have a fever and should be at home in bed but TOO MUCH TO DO so having hot tea and painkillers and powering through. Yank working late tonight so the plan is netflix and chill (aloooone) this evening and an early night. Will see how I feel tomorrow as could take some time off in the morning if needed.

I remember reading on a forum once that some guy who used to drink a lot and had stopped said that for the first month or so, he was thirsty all the time and figured he'd probably been dehydrated for years. I would say it could be detoxing. If you can afford to take tomorrow off, I say do it and give yourself a rest. :)

Seconded. Fighting infections is hard work for your body and antibiotics - while awesome and often life-saving - don't exactly make you more energetic.

I've never had a blood test before and am really frightened of needles so think I will struggle to have blood taken if I need to..maaaah.
If there's a way, try to get a phlebotomist with a chatty personality, tell him/her that you don't want to know what's happening, just ask to keep you distracted. It'll be over before you know it. Also, it's recommended to have a big glass of water beforehand, even for a fasting blood test - it makes the whole process easier for all involved.

New here to the forum just getting to know everyone and checking all of the latest posts.. But this is awesome!

It sounds like you're doing quite amazing on your plan, 9 lbs is great progress! Keep it up i'm rooting for you!!

I definitely have some sort of infection. THE PEE STICK DOES NOT LIE. And I've been a sober bean since Jan 1st (as in "normal drinking levels") so don't think I'm experiencing detox. Can't even think about a blood test - I know I'll need one when I'm a pregnant person but hoping to avoid it until then...veins are creepy and I do not wantttt.

Feeling pretty grim - work was stupid and I now have two street homeless 18 year olds to sort by Friday. Gotta love local authority funding. No money, no resources, no fun. I'm running a fever still but have eaten quite well. Yank not home so going to bed with a hot water bottle and hoping I will feel better in the morning :) Finishing this episode of Ru Paul and wishing I was a gorgeous man in a frock.

January 24th

Sounds like date night.
