If there's a way, try to get a phlebotomist with a chatty personality, tell him/her that you don't want to know what's happening, just ask to keep you distracted. It'll be over before you know it. Also, it's recommended to have a big glass of water beforehand, even for a fasting blood test - it makes the whole process easier for all involved.I've never had a blood test before and am really frightened of needles so think I will struggle to have blood taken if I need to..maaaah.
Opps - week 3 update!
Week One: 199lbs to 194.5lbs (-4.5)
Week Two: 194.5lbs to 191.5 (-3)
Week Three: 191.5lbs to 190 (-1.5)
Not thrilled, 1.5lbs isn't fantastic but it's a healthy amount to lose and I did have an excessive night out on Friday! Will take any loss at this point! 9lbs down in total in 3 weeks. Looking forward to the 180's next week, I hope!
