pump up music

what kinda music u guys listen to when u workout. i listen to rap most of the time but im sure most of the people here are the hard core rock

i listen to rap too.... Tupac is good for exercising in my opinion. and every once in a while i'll throw in the Mortal Kombat theme to pump me up for quick repititions of push-ups or somthing.

my gym always have the local radio station tuned inn, which EVERYONE in the gym hates.. so i have to say, backstreet boys and stuff like that. I cant stand having ear plugs with music when i lift, they make me feel so heavy for some reason :( so i have to listen to the damn radio.

To pump up...I don't know. I listen to almost anything, I guess it just depends on what I feel like. I've been known to get pumped to opera. Lately it's been a lot of hip hop.

My gym is open 24 hours and I usually go at 4:00 in the morning when noone else is there so its pretty much whatever was left playing the night before. Sometimes hip hop and sometimes classic rock!!

I have to listen to rock when working out. Groups like Saliva, Shinedown, Buckcherry, Puddle of Mudd, etc.
Couldn't workout without my Ipod.

I'm in the same boat. My gym plays a broadcast 'club network' and sometimes its not too bad, but there's a LOT of britney and christina and justin and crap like that. Sadly I don't find it comfortable to lift wearing my mp3 player, but I use it for cardio.

now your talking! I love to listen to Metallica when I workout they are the best! Maybe a little Korn too depending on the mood but I only dance to rap, not work out to it.

any particular songs u guys prefer, just askin cuz im makin a CD for the work out room at school, the coaches set up some surround sound speakers so we like to bump so pump up music. Mostly rap considering everyone in the weight room only listens to that but im open minde so i dont mind some rock.......as long as its not that emo, acid, or screaming crap that I can not understand why people listen to

dance with the devil - immortal technique

his rapping and lyrical skills in this song is amazing, and after you listen to this song, im pretty sure you will be amazed too not only by the skills, but what the whole song is about

Soldier- Eminem
Til' I Collapse- Eminem
When We Ride On Our Enemies- Tupac
Runnin' (Dying To Live)- Tupac feat. Biggie
Warrior- Lloyd Banks

just to name a few

SLIPKNOT
ATREYU
STONESOUR
RISE AGAINST
SYSTEM OF A DOWN
RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE
(some BLOOD HOUND GANG is good to)

The fast heavy metal that makes you crazy and want to kill is the best to get your adrenaline going for a workout.

a few ive had on the list for a while and listen to is
multiply - xzibit
camera phone - da musicians
go to church - ice cube
im' ma shine - young bloodz (<----this is a personal favorite for workin out)
cant be touched - roy jones jr.
click click boom - saliva

thats a few songs i like to listen to before and during a workout or before a game in the locker room.
