Sport Protein with milk or water?

Yeah, you have to use what you got. I might start buying online but right now Bodyfortress at Wal-Mart tastes good and is cheap 12.95 for 2lbs

Yeah this is probably a better option than anything at GNC just because of the price. And not that it's THAT much different that GNC (although I do like them better), but if you have a Vitamin Shoppe near you, they are often cheaper.
 
Well i do have to admit, The protein with milk is a whole lot better than with water. But i did have some problems 30min-1hour later, like my stomach felt queasy and all kinds of that stuff.
 
I don't know how you can say protein powders taste bad? That is like saying ice cream tastes bad. There are a million kinds and flavors. You have to find what you like. I use Met RX and like it a lot. I mix with water and gatorade.
 
I've read somewhere that drinking whey with milk slows down the digestion of the protein because of the casein protein. That's why drinking it with water is better after a work out because you'll absorb the protein faster which is what whey is for. I don't know the specifics, but that's what i read on another forum.

I think it's beneficial for that exact reason, because you get the fast and sustained delivery. You don't need to immediately flush your muscles with fast acting whey post workout. Don't get too caught up in the minutia there.
