Weight-Loss Protein shakes on non-lift days?

Weight-Loss
It can.

But doens't always.

That's probably the last reason I'd be taking them anyhow.

Alright...now you have my attention...I will have to Google the buggers (or read around here) so see what the deal is...more distractions from work, yippee!!!!!

yeah one more reason why i don't like him :D

he has trouble gaining weight
he's smart
he's determined

he's really such a pest...

It's not really the fish oil per se.

It's more about what these things are broken down into.

Docosahexaenoic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid.

More commonly known as DHA and EPA.

ya know it's really hot when you can spell such big words :)

This was a fun treat to come back to after lunch... hahahaha.

I too had the fish burps for the first month or so, now, not a single aftertaste.

It is VERY worth it in my opinion, my cholesterol has dropped from a 180 to a 121. I'm a happy camper.

That's more along the lines of why you want to take it.

(see above)

Just one good health benefit.

bah you ain't old and ugly - i want a pretty pill - I already made my bp under normal and my cholesterol has never been above 165... i want the outward benefits..

Ok back to fish oil...

I found 'no odor' fish oil pills...got them out of the container and damn if they don't look like suppositories...ick...but they are supposed to help w/the fish burps, it say so on the bottle!

I'm going to try them but I'd be a liar if I didn't say I was a little nervous...

Good thing I'm not impressing anyone during the next few days...

The claims on fish oils are pretty impressive, I'd like the FDA to really get into approving them.

Many have also said to use a pill that has an Enteric coating. Reduces burps and allows for the pill to be broken down in the intestine rather the stomach... that allows for the greatest absorption of EPA's and EFA's.

Morning :)

I didn't check the label for the Enteric coating (never heard of it before) but it had on the bottle emphasized pretty well that it was supposed to control fish burps, which was the deal closer for me.

I am still learing about a lot of these things but what I read was pretty impressive. I need all of the help I can get right now, not to bore you, just standard issues (I try to keep the majority of my whining to my diary, hehe).

I will say that they are some scary looking pills...if I didn't know, I would swear that they were suppositories for sure. Of course if they were that would really eliminate the fish burp problem :D
