Don't listen to Nobody , yeah food is great obviously (as is milk), but a shake is much easier to do and digest in your body.
I would go with whey, dextrose, and whatever else you do...a few grams of creatine or what have you.

You dont want fiber in your PWO drink. It will slow digestion and you need the protein/carbs to quickly replenish lost muscle glycogen to start the repair/rebuild process.junkfoodbad said:scroll down and check out the ingredients on the sugar free metamucil
second ingredient is maltodextrin. with the unflavored, you could make a decent PWO drink with some whey. probably not as cheap as dextrose, but you have the added benefit of some fiber as well.
