We live in a lazy society. Younger people do nothing but sit around, watch TV, play video games, eat bad food and drink lots of alcohol. We, as a younger crowd, are lazy, uncaring idiots who destroy our bodies through our actions. Honestly, I'm not surprised that we are the dominant age group in this forum. Well, according to this one poll.

ok you're forgiven..............

but then you know i think you're adorable...
so much so i may have to adopt you :smilielol5:

Yeah It's true we 20's are gettin overweight, but we are also stressed outta our minds. More stressed than the older age group cuz of school and part-time jobs. Its a tough world out there..And yeah i got homework to do..exams are here, another stress fuel. Please end my life :(

yeah cos of course we never had school & p/t jobs...get over yourself!!

seriously though i do know what its like to be young & stressed...after studying for 4 'A' levels at 18 & about to sit my exams...i left home as the situation there was intolerable...i'd left home on/off since i was 16 but i never went back this time...it certainly set me off course...as too stressed at time to even think about my exams (slept in my friends bedroom for 2 mths without her mother even knowing i was there!! they had 6 girls all teenagers so she never noticed i was actually sleeping there & not just visiting...everyday) when finally got back on track to do my 'A' s again at 23....i had a 2 yr old & had just been divorced...when i finally got to uni...i was heading for my 2nd divorce & i was also working p/t!! so believe me i know :)

my sons 20 (21 in a couple of wks) & about to sit his final exams at uni...i always wanted things to be the very opposite for him than they were for me...but i think sometimes i went to far the other way.....i can never quite get the hang of doing things the middleway...i had p/t jobs while at school from age 12...my sons never had a p/t job...he goes to liverpool uni so hes still able to stay at home while hes studying...& he gets everything bought for him...game consoles/games/cds/mobile phones/clothes etc etc...despite everything (ie my 3 divorces....) we have a very happy, stable home...hes a good kid, always has been & he does do chores around the house & helps me out with finn (my youngest who has autism) our house can be a bit of a madhouse at times...finn often likes to shout & we have a very giddy dog whos always friggin barking...so i will miss my son terribly when he does leave...hes the very grown up responsible one of the family!! & as i tell him...use my life as an eg of how NOT to do things!! marriage/kids for later on...definitley a thing to do nearer 30 rather than 20!!

ps get some bach flower remedies from boots...good for de-stressing!! & if all else fails...stop & do some deep breathing...works for me...well when i remember to do it that is. the occasional scream into a cushion works wonders stress wise too!! you'll be fine...you're young you can do anything/everything you want to...enjoy the moment..........

edit....
by the way i was just taking the piss with the homework thing :D
you kids today have no sense of humour LOL

I can't wait to be 40. I just want to start getting that little bit of gray in my hair that a lot of women find to be distinguished and sexy.

22 here. I...never really care when I get another year older.

I wonder how many people actually ask to get gray put in their hair.

At ripe old age of... wait, how old am i again? Oh yes 22! I've been 40 for at least the last 5 years... I really need to learn how to act my age... maybe when I'm in my 30's and my kids are old enough to mind themselves I can catch up
