Please help me with weight loss??? Mine is a different condition.

Hi harissaa, I'm a new member, too. I understand your frustration, as I too have hypotyroidism, and even with my readings now testing in the normal range with medication, I am still not losing weight. My problem is I eat healthy MOST of the time, but then after a few weeks of being good, I get these intense cravings for my old comfort foods. Then I binge and negate much of the progress I have made. I am also 63 years old, so my metabolism isn't what it used to be, nor is my activity level.

If you are 20 years old, eating totally healthy, and being active yet still can't lose weight at all, then I can understand how you'd be frustrated. My doctor tells me that if I get to the point where I can't lose weight even when I am dieting and exercising and my thyroid levels are normal, he will send me to an endocrinologist to see if any other hormone imbalances (cortisol, leptin, testosterone levels, etc.) need to be addressed or if I perhaps have a more serious thyroid issue which is outside the realm of his expertise. I feel your pain, and I wish you the very best! WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS!

I know what you're going through

I was going through the exact same thing as you're talking about, so i understand your despair. I know exactly what's happening to you, but today's your lucky day. Hit me up and let's talk.
