Petals diary

Today so far has been ok. As I guessed I have had no time for walk as just home from work and need to get ready for the function . I will make up tomorrow.

Tried to keep moving though and least clock some steps .
 
Tough age. Big feelings about everything. Wouldn´t want to do it again. Hope you both have a fun evening!
 
Good morning . Yes we had a great evening . I had a smoothie before I went out luckily . There was pizza after so I just had one slice. I really enjoyed it .

My daughter is luckily well adjusted but is pretty headstrong . We do get on very well though and talk about everything. She luckily enjoys walking so we do lots of walks together .

Sounds like being prepared, to me, rather than luck. Good for you. Preparation is key.
How lovely that you get on so well with your daughter. That's how it should be.
 
What Cate said. Also: most of those "lucky" things sound like the result of hard work early on.
 
Not been feeling too well today . Lack of sleeep i am afraid . I wake too early sometimes.

Thank you ladies . I feel so much better today. I cannot function when I don’t sleep . I’m not the best sleeper but sometimes it’s chronically bad .

Exercise not been too good over weekend but will try get back on track today . The eating has been pretty ok considering but I think having very little crap food in the house is the key. My son came home for a night with his girlfriend and he was making them a cup of tea and he looked for biscuits . Had to say sorry . Lol do them no harm .
 
I need my sleep too Petal & often confuse tiredness & feeling down. Not having unhealthy temptations in the house is key for me. Having delicious fruit choices helps as well. Glad you're feeling better.

Well Monday was a better day . I got my walk done , clocked 41 mins exercise and just over 10k steps in the day . I know I could do more steps but I’m trying to relax a little too . I have a desk job so all in all I suppose it’s good .

Food was leftover curry from Saturday night and then a wholewheat bagel peanut butter and banana for supper . Happy enough with that .

Aim for today is a walk again and perhaps clean out some presses .
 
Sounds good to me! You don´t have to be perfect and it´s certainly sensible to leave time for relaxation or you won´t be able to keep up the good work in the long run.
 
LaMa I am far from perfect
Right yesterday was an ok day . I worked and had afternoon off so I did a mountain walk for an hour . It was fantastic.
Then got some upsetting news about a close friend and I was on way to the store and I ate about 600 Cals of ice cream sitting in my car .
So other than that though the day was fruit , Greek yoghurt , low sugar granola, more melon , wholewheat bagel and banana for lunch , salad and ham and cheese, and a bread roll. I’m conscious I had too many bread carbs but will pull back today .

This is a long journey for me this time around and a fall off the horse won’t keep me off but I will climb back up again and not let my many falls stop my long term goal of getting fit and healthy again.

Oh I will weigh tomorrow morning !
