Thanks Cate LaMa and Em I took the day off it was good . I did a long walk and thinking of going to do another one now . Before it’s too dark .

Yes gotba couple of walks in , yesterday was in the fog but I loved it .
Visited my mother in law and did a big grocery shop stocking up on detergent, kitchen paper and tinned stuff .

Made homemade beef burgers yesterday and I had mine in a roasted red pepper topped with cheese . Yum .
 
Sounds yummy, except for the red pepper, which I assume is capsicum which I’m allergic to.
Glad you got the extra walk in. I have been walking more too :)
 
Walking in the fog sounds lovely and relaxing. I just bought peppers to roast. Love them on burgers - yum! So happy you can now have a little "oops" day and recover so well!!!
 
Hi all sorry I am very much MIA at the moment. Life is just busy .
Work not even going to mention . Also getting house xmas prepped . Doing well
With weight . No loss no gain . Happy with that and eating good food .
Made some coconut flour banana muffins yesterday so I can have some healthy snack in work .
Helping out a family member with her kids this weekend so that will be nice .

The banana muffins sound great. Glad you are still on track despite how busy things are. Good luck with the Christmas decorating!
 
Had a really good weekend . Did a couple of walks with the kids I was looking after . Watched a good Christmas movie called the Christmas chronicles. Really made me laugh.
Woke early this morn so was glad as I could check in here . Days are busy right now with work ( I am working a little more but I am now getting paid for it , I decided enough was enough ) .its still busy and stressful but I'm coping well right now .

One area I'm struggling is lack of exercise. Except forvwalks with kids . The weather is bitter and has been foggy and it's making me not want to go out and my mojo gone a bit for videos . I think I will go back walking in town at night for safety . Once fog clears . Saying that my weather app seems to be rain rain rain on the way .

Food is about 95 per good .

Our xmas tree is up , it looks nice . Getting to things slowly .

I'm practising some habit changes . It's hard to keep at them but I will get there . One is doing 3 gratitude a day . Today I'm grateful for my lovely warm bed , that I have all my xmas cards posted and for the fact I had a good sleep last night .

Another habit change is reducing screen time . Slowly getting there .

Right time I got up as I want to make some healthy snacks for work . Have a great day everyone .

That's great! I'm a firm believer in the idea that feeling appreciated makes every burden lighter. And not getting paid for your work is the opposite of that.
 
All sounds very positive Petal! Glad you have made some progress with the work situation. You’re probably working those hours anyway - far better to make it official and get paid for it! Writing down the 3 things each day you are grateful for is a fantastic thing to do, I must start doing that again myself.
 
Hi Petal! I love how motivated you are with changing habits. I am working on that, too, and the thing I do for myself each day is also making me feel more grateful for my life. Just slowing down and realizing how much wonderfulness there is in the world really helps! I agree with everyone, so important not to feel taken advantage of, or just not appreciated for how darn hard you work. So happy you are making sure you are compensated now. Hope your healthy snacks come out great. So good to hear from you!! :waving::grouphug: back!
 
Thanks Em , LaMa and Marsia , I am not sure where time is going , it is flying by . Work went well enough this week . I had some training on new software and had to do a little work from home .
Had some new flooring fitted in one of our rooms so moved lots of furniture and injured myself . Of course it took me awhile to work out the bad chest pain was in fact pulled muscles rather than me having a heart attack.

My weight is another lb lower so that's great . I was called a skinny Minnie on Thursday! I am now 4lb off my slimming world target I think but I am actually just doing it on my own now . I am just being very mindful of what I eat . I am happy to just keep going as I am and if it takes another 4 months to lose another 4 lbs then happy days . I still will always have my jelly belly I think . So be it .

Got some exercise in but still finding it hard every day . Will get walks though over the weekend .
