I posted a while back. I went from 255 to 168 in weight loss and wanted to put on some muscle to lessen the loose skin, maybe 10-15. My first week for training, 3 days a week, im starting a 4 day plan this week. The advice given to me by my friend (whos kinda like my personal trainer) is never be hungry. Listen to your body itll tell you what it wants. Well, ilistened to my body for a week and I gained 5lbs according to my scale. Is that possible?
I didnt eat THAT much more, i dont get it. I added peanuts and other calorie dense items, but my meals include the following ususally.
Peanut butter and jelly on a whole grain bagel.
Turkey sandwich on whole grain bread with soup for lunch. Apples too.
Can of chili or soup.
Chicken breast, maybe some eggs, and vegetables for dinner.
The whole day I snack on peanuts/raisins/maybe an energy bar.
Workout days include a whey shake.
Am I eating too much, or is a quick gain in the beginning usual. I know i wanna shoot for 500 more calories each day, this may be more than that, but i didnt think 5lbs in a week was possible. If this keeps up ill quit and try to lose weight again....
