Weight-Loss October challenge

Well done all those losing, I am a bit up and down, lose a pound, gain a pound but determined to get rid of wobbly bits. Must cut out cheese, it's my downfall.................... Anyway 20 days to go all those who are in on this challenge. I wonder whose going to win?:)

Well I've been pretty much stable at around 127-128 lbs....but I plan to make a big ticker and put it on my bedroom wall for motivation- that and I just saw pics of myself taken last Sat- God, I look fat, haha. Stepping it up Saturday!!
 
I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to list all the members in the Oct challenge club thus far, just because it'll be good to keep track of everyone and we have the advantage of being a small group (compared to the other one). Just a thought. What do you guys think?

Maybe I've just been at the office too much and I'm getting the "organization" bug...
 
Today was my weigh in day and I'm down another 2lbs, woo hoo. Started the month at 167 and I'm down to 162. These 2lbs also brought me to my 10% goal (10% of my body weight). Shooting for the next 10% now.
 
Excellent Krinse, well done you. Misty if you want that organising job, it's yours. Sorry I'm not the most organised, hence no systems like the other threads. I thought we could total everything on the 31st, but if you want to organise eveyone..............jobs yours!
I have been going through hell at work so my weight is staying still. But I have been exercising more and feeling fitter.
Good luck everyone and keep on getting slimmer.

P.S Crissy it's not too late to join, see how much you can lose by 31st.:)
 
I'm having one of those "I'm feeling tired and cranky and depressed" days, so no organizing today. As long as everyone posts their weight by the end of the month it's all good. Also...thankfully I have not managed to pig out on chocolate- reason being I can't find the chocolate. It's stashed somewhere in the closet, and I have no idea where. Plus, in no mood to go look for it.
 
lol i had one of those cranky depressed days yesterday. then i had one too many sugar free dove chocolates :rolleyes:. anywho...i also slipped last saturday. ended up having a watermelon smirnoff (a big one lol) and then i had a bowl of ice cream :eek:. so yeah...i've only lost a pound, but hey at least i didn't gain weight! :)

Oct1= 212 pounds
Oct7= 209
Oct14= 208

Its been kind of slow, but I've been doing pretty good.
I do a weigh in every sunday, so yeah:)

Look at all you people losing weight! I'm stable at 127 right now- blah- I feel so out of shape b/c I've hardly had time to go to the gym. Interviews are keeping me busy, and also stressing me out- which leads to chocolate cravings.
 
Great to have new people joining....... the nearer Oct the 31st gets, the more pressure I feel to lose some weight! Good luck everyone one of you, the heat is on now!!

Let's hope we all have happy Halloween parties and not end up like the pumpkin!:jump:

BTW...Well done all those losing weight, I think I need inspiration as I'm still up and down but I'm a last minute person.........

I weighed in yesterday and I'm down another lb. for a total of 6lbs for the month.

Hang in there Cates. I know it can get frustrating losing and gaining the same few lbs. Just don't give up and those lbs will be gone forever.

What great news! I wonder should we total everyones weight loss at the end and see how much we've lost between us? Might be better than seeing who has lost the most as we all started different times? What do you think? :)
 
Well it's slow going for me, thanks for the support though! I have stepped up my exercise in the hope that this will speed things up. I think I am retaining water or something! Only 2 days to go, I have lost a total of 4 lbs so that not too bad I suppose.....aarggghh only 2 more days 2 go! Anyone fancy a November challenge?

Crissy - don't be hard on yourself, just carry on, look forward not back!

Weighed msyelf this morning and I'm down another 1lb. So that's a total of 7lbs for the month. Started at 167 and finished up at 160. Would have loved to had gotten into the 150's. Hopefully by next week I'll be there.
 
Well here in the UK it is 7pm 31st October.

This month I lost 4lb.

Todays the day we should post our total weight loss for the month of October. Great to hear some of you have lost weight!

Big congratulations to all those who lost :hurray: hope you can join me for November 7lb challenge.:waving:
