Weight-Loss Obese To Overweight BMI?

Weight-Loss
It is not that you are not welcome but we prefer to meet you in the other group :) Reserve us seats there :)

My bmi is 30.7 and I think my minimum goal weight is (bmi) around25 right now when I get down there I will probably need to be lower. I am here for everyone if you need support I know how hard it is to do this. Lose 5 pounds and gain them right back it is like that ugly plateau just wants to be mr opportunity.

skipped over the obese line this morning and made it into overweight land...

33 more lbs and I hit the land of normal...

hey folks, i'd like to apply for the club as well =) i'm at a bmi of 32 currently. hopefully within about 2-3 months i can get myself down to overweight status. then maybe a further 3-4 months to a beach-ready body.

Congratulations Mal! You are one of the most inspirational people on this site.

I want to join this group. I used to have my ticker set for my under obesity goal. I had to change it a little after I reached the halfway point because I found myself unmotivated when the little ticker crossed over into the happy faces since they kinda made me feel like that was good enough. Right now I'm at 32.4BMI I believe and will reach 29.9BMI at 185lbs. When I first started dieting, the weight just fell off. Now it seems as though I have to fight for every pound. I will be so happy when I'm finally overweight.

Mal,
What have you been doing to lose weight?
my adventure started in May of 2006 and i'm down 181lbs since then...

I eat everything - well most everythig anyhow - I've never touched fast food in my life and I don't like processed foods I plan my meals and have a reasonable amount of calories a day (generally around 2000-2400) and I walk - A LOT... plus regular weight training...

hmm, mal.... are you a browncoat by any chance?

Browncoat is a slang term from the space western TV series Firefly (and its big-screen "sequel", Serenity) for a member of the Independent Faction, which lost to the Alliance in the Unification War. It is also a nickname for fans of the series.

that's right. it's stupid i know, but if you'd dug a little deeper you'd have found that the main character of the universe is nicknamed mal.

maleficent is the evil queen from sleeping beauty - mistress of all that is evil... she's one fo the better villians as she's got no motive for being evil - she just is...
