Splenda is fine in moderation....We can't remove EVERYTHING bad. Sure it's not the best for you but it helps you eat something healthy :p

i guess you could say this but lol i dont like eating things that are classified as "toxic sweeteners".

I eat my plain anyway :D But I still stand to what I said before. I use it sometimes in Kool-Aid :D

i agree with you about moderatin kuz unless you eat more than a tbs of it i dont think you will get ANY side effects since its such a small amount.

individuals are different though : )

The only thing I have found that makes oatmeal taste bearable is mixing it uncooked into some yogurt. I hate the taste and teture of the stuff cooked.

Here's how I make mine.

Take 1.25 cp skim milk.
3oz frozen fruit of your choice (I like strawberries, blueberries and cherries).

put the fruit and 1/3 cp milk into a blender. Purree.

Pour into a saucepan. Wash the blender out with the remaining milk, pour it in.

Boil up your oats normally.

add 1 tbsp ground flaxseed.

Good stuff!

i would add hot sauce.
i duno i add hot sauce to everything LOL. its got a lot of sodium but no calories if you use franks red hot.
i wonder if it would taste good with oatmeal... probly not though... then again it doesnt taste bad at all with rice.

I add splenda too XD. I used to eat oatmeal with brown sugar and milk when I was little. It was like a huge treat for the family when mom would make oatmeal, so I absolutely love it!

i just bought this quaker weight control and its really good. it def beats splenda.. + it has 7 grams of protein and i think 5 grams of fiber
