So despite some very vigorous working out and hard diet clean up, not much has changed. The inner thigh stuff is just NOT budging!...nevermind the very dirty mirror. lol

haha I have only one pic of my legs and its on my first set of progress pics posted a while ago but I have on bike shorts. I suppose now they look better than that pic. All my others have been of my upper body. My legs have been my focus for a little while so I thought I should get a pic of them. My title is one of frustration because I feel like little has changed despite really hard work, but I'm my worst critic.
 
I don't see anythong wrong there Sparrow. What are you doing for legs? I think you are being over critical of yourself.
 
I'm doing bulgarian split squats, SLDL's, hyperextentions and walking lunges. The split squats are 3x a week as are the SLDL's and then I mix in hyperextentions and the lunges when I feel like it on different days. I also spin 2 days a week, and run 2-3 days a week. I'm in a triathlon class so we do a bunch of conditioning stuff in addition to that like sprints, bosu workouts, suicides, burpies, etc.
 
you have a great shaped leg imo. Your outer sweep is there and they are very athletic. The bit you describing wont go away its meant to be there. Enjoy your legs sparrow :D

I think he might be right about that bit of flesh supposing to be there. I have the same bulge, but mine's much larger :eek: Is it the whole thighs touching thing that's bothering you? The only girl I've ever seen in person whose thighs didn't touch was this one freakishly thin girl walking down the street in Paris. Her thighs were literally like (), I don't think they could've touched if she held them together. And believe me, it did NOT look good. Just creepy...

wow, I wasn't really expecting this type of feedback. thank you everyone! My goal is to get them *smaller*, to get smaller overall. I do not like them touching, its true but I'm realizing thats just reality. my hips are more narrow at 33inches so duh, they're going to touch. My measurements are 22ish inches on each and that seems BIG to me but although the measurement hasn't really gone down they have gotten more leaner "looking" I suppose.

First of all they look great to me. If you are trying to shrink them then go for cardio. They look very toned already.

thank you. I do loads of cardio because I'm training for a triathlon. It only seems to make them stay the way they are or get bigger :mad:
 
i agree with everyone- you have beautiful legs. i too strive for perfection, but who says perfect thighs don't touch? they are smooth, toned, and shapely- enjoy them!!
 
You already look delicious. I drooled a little, it's true, lol. I don't know why you're aiming for smaller, but...

Now that we're past the pat on the head, if you want your thighs to look leaner, perhaps what you're missing is aerobic training. The only way to get that lean look is to drop your bodyfat %. Crank up the aerobics for a bigger calorie deficit. Of course, as a woman, that can mean decreasing other curves you probably want to keep.

If you're already running a big enough calorie deficit and not seeing much of a change in bodyfat, chances are where you're at now is near your lower limit, which would make any further decrease in bodyfat difficult.

Can't say much more than that without some specs, specifically: bodytype and observed trends, bodyfat, caloric intake, RMR, and bust size (just kidding on this one :p).

Well I don't feel I can do much different at this point. I do a ton of cardio already in the form of spinning, running and swimming. I have an intense weight routine (not girly weights) and I eat super clean. The only thing I can think of is not eating enough, which is an issue with me. My body fat right now is 15.8
