My goal for this year is to lose weight and to get in shape. One way I am achieving this is making sure my exercise program each day is varied with different exercises so I don't get bored. Anotoher thing I am doing is using my job as a reporter to help me lose weight: last month I pitched an idea of me chronicling my weight loss and fitness goals for this year. The way I figure it, it has two benefits -- one, it can inspire someone else to lose weight, and two, it will force me to lose it myself if the entire Lakes Region of NH is reading the column.

Netball is kinda like basket ball only the rules are a bit warped. I find it a bit silly because in netball you can't run with the ball. Someone throws the ball to you and then you have to stop, find someone to throw to and then get back into position. I've never played but this is pretty much what netball is. And rarely is it played by men.
