New Year Resolutions

What are your New Year Resolutions? (My birthday is also on new years with my twin sister also :cool: ).

My resolutions (long term goals) are
- Squat 240
- Deadlift 325
- Bench 165
- Clean 145
- Run the 40 yard time in 4.0 under
- Be 180 Pounds with a low body fat %
- Start Defensive End for my Varsity team (kinda a longshot, 1 of the DE on my football team is 245 pounds :eek: )
- Get Rid of the belly once and for all (along with the other goal above)
And not just weightlifting, here are some other goals
- 4.0 in the second semester (1st semester is impossible)
- Get my License

So what are your goals in 2007?
 
A year is a long time...I don't know for sure, but I've been thinking;

Squat- 300
Dead- 350+
OH press- 180+
 
I think my only real goal for 2007 is to really focus on getting my diet in check. I cave too often and I have to fix that if I want the body I am going after.
 
All figures are minimums to achieve in 2007.

Squat: 200
Deadlift: 300
Bench: 200
Bent-over row: 150
Should press: 150

Weight: between 170-185@ 10% or less bf.

Same problem here, but today ways my most discaplined ever day. I skipped Pizza, Cookies, Ice Creame, and Soda. So this really marks my real first day of cutting.

Great job! I on the other hand indulged in fudge, cookies, soda....lol ahh the holidays. LOL

Its hard on the holidays. I figured that if I could not cave in on none of that food, then what would make me cave in on food in the future? I kinda tested myself purposely....Sometimes you need that to get things goin.
 
Today was bad for us too... As for the New Year?

Run a 3k, 5k, 8 or 10k within the year (3 races)
Run the Du Run Run Duathlon in Nashville (2mi run, 10mi bike, 2 mi run).
Quit cheating on the diet.
 
I have two main resolutions. Do what I can to be a good dad (first child is due July 4th), And get strong enough not to embarace myself at the Scottish Highland Games in June.

That means my goals are:

Bench press-350lbs
Dead lift-550lbs
Squat-400lbs
 
Mine is to STOP procrastinating and to put away my laundry LOL. Sometimes it goes from the clean hamper to my body to the dirty hamper, all without ever making it to it's rightful place...damn those socks!

I totally hear you. I HATE putting away laundry. LOL
