You probably saved over half the calories there, well done! I´d suggest buying only one or two kinds of veggies for now (cucumber? tomatoes? bell pepper? lettuce?) and have them be stuff you enjoy and can simply be put on top or to the side of whatever you´re eating already so it doesn´t actually add more work and your fridge isn´t full of sad veggies that make you feel guilty a week from now. Always better to have a little bit and use it up than a lot and throw it away
Unfortunately, my favorite vegetable is beef tacos.I know that feeling Rachel - the only fruit I actually really like are bananas. Everything else just gets left until mould starts to form then out it goes lol
I know I should make more effort, but bananas is what I like
Woo, well done on the steps that's really good going
Well done Rachelost 6 lbs since the 1st January which seems unrealistic, but that's what the scales say!
I tend to eat out once a week but I haven't found anything that satisfies yet is low in calories. My calorie limit is probably much higher than yours so this may not be a great option, but I tend to compensate by having lower calories elsewhere in the day and/or surrounding days.Does anyone have any favourite healthy meals at specific resteraunts in the UK which they like that aren't the standard salad
I love Iceland lol! Not only do they have some good food it's often so cheap too haha! Also, found a new favourite for healthy ready meals in Icelands slimming world range!
Hi, Rachel. If you ask to have any sauces on the side that helps in restaurants. Ask for extra veg instead of chips. If you have Chinese food, ask for less rice on your plate. There are so many things you can do & still really enjoy your meal. 2 starters if you're hungry is still a better option than being tempted by dessert. You'll find a way
Well done Rachel

Hey Rachel,Does anybody have any advice for what I could eat differently but still feel full? I.e. Some healthy but bulky snacks to fill me up... I've had porridge for breakfast, a ham sandwich on brown bread for lunch and a yogurt, and casserole lean beef with a small jacket potato for dinner and I'm feeling quite hungry still
I also did a hour walk home from work (which is quite bad since it was only 3 miles)
Hey Rachel. Read your post about chocolate and it reminded me of my struggle at the office this week. This is a new building for me, so I wasn't aware that there is this table, you must pass to get anywhere, that always hosts some homemade treat. I was proud of myself for walking past homemade chocolate fudge (what?!) 4 times and leaving the office for the long weekend without taking any. My motivation? As one of my small changes, I'm trying to make it 30 days without treats. Didn't want to ruin my streak and I don't think my body wants the sugar so much any more. I'm not seeing it so much as a diet as a challenge that might help me get out of bad habits and routines. Let's see how it works.I'm struggling today - how's everyone else doing? Back in the office and there's a box of after eights, box of quality streets and a big bag of Cadbury caramel mini bites - lovely presents from the management - but it's really making me struggle! And these are just mine by the way, everyone in the office got the same - if it was between us it would be much easier to resist. Think I'm going to put them away when I get home and maybe have one chocolate per night as a treat with my low calorie hot chocolate.
Anyway, happy new year guys!
Mmmm chorizo, my favourite spanish sausageThe chicken and chorizo pasta meal from there is amazing
