New PT advice

Has anyone in the UK ever used or knows this guy?

?

Derek wilson is his name, and he is based in the NE of England.

I am thinking of having a few sessions with him in my local gym, and was hoping for some feedback from you guys first.

Cheers

Why would you pay for a personal trainer when you can just ask anything you want on the forum.

This is open 24/7, but you'll be with the PT for 1 hour a week.

It would be a good idea to get someone to make sure your technique is good but thats all. And dont fall for that list of tests. Your GP can do any of that for free.

It was mainly for my lass to be honest.

She is currently following a full body workout scheme (badly I might add), but she seems to think she could do with getting some ideas from someone who knows what they are talking about (unlike me ! ).

It might be an idea for her to have a couple of sessions just to get her form right etc, as she cannot grasp the 'bend your elbows as you lower the weight philosophy', and thinks i'm picking on her when I tell her to do it "this way, look watch me" etc.

Is she a gurly girl? If she is then the chances are she will listen to a pro. so It may help with motivation.

But by God you'd better keep your mouth shut if she is doing somehting wrong.

Trust me, even if your right your wrong. Once a gurly girl has had a personal training session she knows all there is to know about technique, reps sets, fitness and the world.

You must have met my wife then !!

However at the earliest possible point of getting anywhere near pain or sweating she will stop and fain injury

LOL - women eh?
