What exactly is vegemite? I've seen it in other diaries, too, but I don't know what it is.

its a yeast extract. very dark brown in colour (almost black), tastes very salty, usually spread on toast or sandwiches (but only very thinly). Um if you have marmite or promite over there then it is similar to that.
 
Glad to hear the Easter Bunny visited you TOO! Now, if we can just feed all the junk to our kiddos and hubbies and get on with it. LOL

hahaha, ok here you go guys, I am back LMAO...

I am still finding it hard to leave the chocolate alone (I am eating some right now), but hey, the quicker I eat it all the quicker I can not have any in the house hehehe...

Breakfast-

Apricot and Peach Special K
Glass of apple juice

snack-
some chocolate

Lunch-
Chicken, cheese, lettuce and mayo sandwich
glass of apple juice

snack-
left over home made pizza
chocolate
water

dinner-
chicken with bacon and swiss cheese, baked potatoes, carrots, beans and corn
glass of lemonade

snack-
the chocolate that I am eating right now...
 
yeah I know, chocolate is a real weakness of mine, well nice chocolate, the boys got some eggs that I swear taste foul lol, I like those guylian seashells **drools** hehehe, I'm just glad easter only comes around once a year. I might tell everyone to just buy the boys an easter related toy next year, I'd prefer they didn't eat a ton of chocolate either...
 
Breakfast-
porridge with full cream milk and 2 teaspoons sugar
apple juice

snack-
tea with full cream milk and 1 sugar

lunch-
a little less then half a baguette (um the whole baguette was about 12"), sliced and spread with light sweet chilli philli
glass of apple juice

snack-
2 chocolate eggs
1 cinnamon donut
1/2 a carrot
glass of apple juice (these things have been spread out over abouta a 4-5 hour period)

dinner-
1 piece oven baked fish
mashed potato
corn on the cob
glass of lemonade

snake-
you guessed it....a chocolate egg


excersise-

um does dancing to the bob the builder song with Rohan count, it was no-stop jumping around like a lunatic for 3 minutes and 7 seconds lol, I did work up a sweat LMAO, I think I need to excersise more hahaha...

i bought a pair of really tight jeans today :) i told myself that i have to lose weight and be able to fit into them :) so I think that will be my restrain from binge eating for now :)
 
:D and i tried vegemite before while travelling with aussies! it was certainly different haha. but interesting how some of them couldn't live without it! they had a traveller sized sqeeze bottle with them at all times hahaha.
and im going to an aussie bar tomorrow nite :) u guys really know how to party! i love aussie bars in every city i've been to!
 
hehehe thanks. My clothing goal is to fit into a dress I wore in 2000 before I was pregnant with Shannon, maybe I should go with something a bit easier to start with LMAO.

I think if I went overseas I would be taking the biggest jar of vegemite I could get LMAO.
And I don't really know how to party, kids kill your party cells lol...
 
You are doing great =) That is such a good idea of buying clothes that are just a little too small so that you have to work to fit into them. I might try that with a new set of capris or something for the summer. =)
 
Hey, Witchy Mamma!
I found marmite in the Ethnic section of the grocery store (along with a huge selection of British candies that I remember from my days of living in Canada). I have to say that it didn't look like I couldn't live without it. Is it like peanut butter? I'm having a hard time envisioning a snack of "yeast extract."
Yes, I do consider it working out if you have danced with Bob the Builder!

havn't been feeling to great lately, my headaches have flaired up again, and I just don't feel like eatting (I have had to start forcing myself to eat). Hopefully it will pass soon.

Breakfast-
porridge with full cream milk and 2 sugars
cup of tea

lunch-
ham and salad sandwich
oj

snack-
cocopop muffin (hehehe don't ask lol)

dinner-
2 slices homemade pizza
lemonade

snack- small bowl icecream with nuts
small slice left over pizza
