What did the dr. say? I so know how you feel with working around your injury! I do hope that it heals quickly. But take care of yourself!

Working your other body parts is a great way to keep it up and keep going! I know it helped me keep motivated! Kudos!
 
thanks NLL! I will see him this week for an xray and I'm thinking he'll give me the okay to start running again. It hasn't hurt at all and I've been using the elliptical regularly to keep up w/ cardio and lifting at least 3 days a week.

By the way, I am loving my biceps, lol. They are not as pronounced as I would like because I'm still working on getting my body fat down but they're getting big and I love it! :p

I know what you mean, I was so happy to have made progress, now I am trying to keep it! lol Nothing like seeing the fruits of your labor right? They will get there, you have been doing great keeping yourself going! Good luck at the docs!

30 minutes elliptical at varied paces

On machines:
2 sets chest press with 60 lbs (recently upped by 10 lbs)
2 sets pec deck with 60 lbs (ditto)
2 sets vertical leg lifts (lower abs)
2 sets ab crunches with 65 lbs
2 sets bicep curls with 40 lbs

nice curling and crunching weight. Impressive indeed.

Ever tried doing your cardio after your weight session? I bet you'll have more strength.
