My Training Diary (Feb4)

Well I started my in the gym/out the gym routine Feb 4. Here is what I did, and I will post again tonight after I go. Just follow along.

Arnold Press

I am supplementing with Met-rx whey protein, creatine capsules (3g on training days), and NO2. Dropping all but protein powder after supply is gone.
I am only able to attend the gym on Wed nights and Saturday after morning class as of right now. I am trying this program until I get more time, at which point I will revise and restart.

Well I took off work Wednesday to stay home with my son and write a paper for my Social Psych class. I didnt make it to the gym so Thursday I tried to make up for it by doing the following.

Incline Pushups
2x20

Dips
1x10

Bench Press(on Bowflex)
2x10@65

Tricep Press(on BF)
2x8@65

Could've done more, but little A gets most of my time. Upset about missing squats though.

Nah, you've got your priorities straight. You'll have plenty of years to squat, but time missed with the son is never given back. Besides, pretty soon the kiddo will be out messin' with the iron like you are. My son (he's 3 1/2) has his own spare tire that he flips, his own 2.5 pd weight that he acts as if it's a Braemar stone to throw, and he helps me deadlift on occasion. He's also got a 5 pd db that he'll do 1 arm db snatches with.

I didnt do incline curls, and I barely pushed out the third set of A presses. I started feeling sick, and ended up throwing up once I walked into the bathroom.

Well it happened again, didnt make to the gym. School work is becoming hectic this week, as I have two tests on Tuesday that I am trying to prepare for. Spring Break is right around the corner, a chance to catch up. I will be there Saturday though!

Well since it is my spring break this week, the gym is closed both weekends in a row. I plan on making up my normal Saturday routine on Tuesday most likely.

I was humbled today by changing from db to bb bench press. Couple more weeks and Ill be up in the low two hundreds again.

I would love to do a lot more exercises, but frankly my time is limited right now. I'm trying to get the most bang for the buck right now. I'm hoping shortly I will be able to shuffle things around and work out a three day split.
