Hmmmm.... don't really know if i should count today as 4 or 11 oh well, feels like 11 days so think i will count 11...

Going well, made myself steak and gem squash for lunch added a bit of sweetner and cinnamon to the gem and oh my word it was delicious, definitely going to be having that again :)

Otherwise feeling good, just very bloated, weird though cause my tummy is working fine but even when it does i still feel bloated, hoping it will just pass! Hate feeling bloated all the time!

Water consuming about 3.75L a day don't know if that could be it, maybe i should cut back to 3L?

No cravings since Tuesday so definitely think the mango at breakfast was the culprit, saving my mango for my afternoon snack now, still struggling to finish all my crackers, hope it doesn't have a negative effect on me.

My husband is from East London :) Braiis are amazing, but can be very naughty.

Sounds like you doing well with your journey, remeber to experiment with spices as this was a real turning point for me and I dont think I would have lasted as long as I did if I ate bland food everyday. I need to look forward to my meals and not dread them :)

Have chilli and garlic chicken mince with mushroom, cumin and fresh corriander for lunch, wrapped up in iceberg lettus cups.. mmmmm yum!

Dont weorry you will get the hang of the whole spice thing! I was worried at first but you just have to experiment and be brave. I think it helps to smell the herbs and spices first so you can imagine if it will go with your chosen protien.

My husband REALLY misses the beach as we are living in London (via Australia) now. I LOVE London but miss getting a nice healthy tan!

You going to look so stunning when you finish the program Angela!! 45kg's and you wont know yourself anymore, I can vouch for that as when I was getting closer to my goal weight I looked different (but in a good way)!

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for the posts, sorry i have been so quiet, been around reading the forum everyday, just been feeling a bit down and miff so haven't been posting much. Not really sure why i have been feeling like this but will just let it pass, sure pms and my bf being sick has got a lot to do with it. Shame he has had this tummy bug since Saturday night and still has it, had to go back to the Dr today and get some antibiotics, poor thing. Haven't been sleeping much duet to him being so sick as he is up almost every 30min and feel so sorry for him, so quite exhausted.

Was hoping to catch up on some sleep this weekend but we are so busy, have friends daughters bday to go to on Saturday afternoon, a 30th bday party Saturday night and my bf got a new bike last weekend and because he was ill he couldn't ride so we are going to the track on Sunday and that is whole day event, at least i can relax there, might not be sleeping but also don't do much there so its not too bad, you are kinda forced to just relax.

Diet has been going well, been struggling a bit with bloatedness but other than that been ok, haven't had many cravings and try and just work through them, find the weekends very testing and actually just cannot wait for them to be over, where i am usually just wishing for them, lol, how is that for a turn around! Weighed myself this morning and have lost about 5kg's don't think that is bad going considering i was sick the one week and it is also that TOM for me now so don't know how much that affects it.

Have to tell you had tuna for lunch today, second time this week and i absolutely don't enjoy it at all, only problem is it is the only fish i am really getting in, generally just make chicken or meat at home at night, fish is very expensive here as well, so if we do have it, it is a bit of a treat for us.

Glad i don't have to worry too much about Valentines day, neither my bf and myself care much for the day so we will just have a normal day and i won't have to worry about not eating this or not drinking this, thank goodness.

Anyway think that's about it from my side, hope everyone is doing well.

Oh yes, forgot to mention, went to gym yesterday for the first time, felt pretty good afterwards, didn't do too much, walked for 20mins and then just did some stretching and did a couple of leg exercises! Think i will stick to doing that for now, hoping it will help with a bit of fitness and only going to do it 3 x a week which i think is sufficient for the time being :)

Woohoo for the gym! Every little bit counts. I think its best to keep it to a minimum anyway. I found when I exercised just a little bit regularly on plan I felt better.

I feel for you and your bf, I hope he gets well soon. Sounds like he has an awful bug.... :(

Your weekend sounds busy, but hopefully you will be able to just relax on Sunday. Take a book or something :) I know what you mean about wanting the weekends to be over..I used to feel like that when I was on plan and felt so hard done by! But honestly girl, just remember to not let food control your life - you control the food! There are so many other things to do that doesnt involve eating - or even things you can take your cohens food too. Chris and I enjoyed lots of picnics and bbq's at friends houses when I was on plan. Aslong as you are organised and have all your food weighed and ready to go, you dont have to stress! :) I do hope you have a nice weekend and get some rest.

Sorry to hear you didnt enjoy your tuna :( I have to say, I'm a big tuna fan. It got me through plan. I loooove it. I mixed mine with my tsp of mayo, salt & pepper... sometimes finely diced spring onion and tomato. I always used 2 crackers with it and had tuna on crackers and then the rest in my salad. YUM! Sorry lol

Happy Valentines Day! (early). It's just another day. We don't take it too seriously and do not do presents or anything. i got Chris a card that says 'fiancee' hehe - im cooking pancakes for breaky, not sure we're doing anything during the day and then we're headed out for a set menu dinner. Should be nice. Scales prob be a bit scary the next day though - eek! Might have to do a big walk during the day.

Well I think I have rambled in your dairy enough for one day. Good to hear from you. Im off to bed now as I'll be up at 5.30am for my walk!

Well done on the 5kg - that's excellent gal! Also way to go on the gym. I'm still not exercising as much as I want to but I do make an effort for at least twice a week. (I know it's not much) but I'm so exhausted when I get home that most of the time I don't have the energy to exercise. However I'm doing great on the diet and haven't fallen off the bus yet.

Tuna - I make it tasty with some onions, tomato & green pepper and my tsp of mayo. Sprinkle some salt & pepper. But I know what you saying I can't have tuna too much either - a little bit fishy. :)

Keep up the good work and at least we have a bit more sunshine hey!!

Hey Angel, hmm lately I've been having my tuna (for the first time in weeks! There are no canned tuna in water where I'm mostly based) just plain with salad. Duh, didn't occur to me that I can spice it up with onions and mayo, etc. :)

I was thinking of waiting till maintenance to exercise but since you are doing fine, I think I should at least start doing some leg exercises to tone my thighs! Currently the only exercise I get is cycling to and fro from work.
 
Hey dietgrrl - just keep in mind that from my understanding, you cannot really 'tone' the legs until you get rid of the fat surrounding the muscle =) but it still can't hurt! The leg exercises will tone the muscle under the fat and once you have lost the fat, It wont be as hard to loose that 'cellulite' look. That is just my understanding - I may be completely wrong, haha. xx
 
Kris, I totally agree with you! And this makes it easier for me, just stick to my diet for now on. He he. :)

p/s I completely agree because my sis goes to the gym regularly - she's more fit than I am. Can run circles around me, etc. However she is also plumper because she refuses to change her diet. I certainly know that there is muscle there but it's hidden under fat.

Hey everyone,

Wow, can't believe it has been so long since I posted! Doesn't feel that long to be honest, and even though I haven't been posting in my diary, i log in everyday and read everyone else's diaries and updates :)

Think i have been a bit quiet as i have been feeling very down and low and just haven't really felt like saying much. Totally lost the plot on the plan and have not followed it for about 2 weeks now which has made me feel even worse. But like Nicky mentioned in her post when she came back that she wasn't going to go on the whole self pity trip and i won't either, i am getting back on the plan on Monday 100% and am going to do my utmost to stick with it..... Beyond frustrated with myself I have to tell you.

Kristy, Nicky, Cate, Mandy, Dietgirrl you are all doing so well and thank you so much for you posts etc, and like i said i have been keeping up to date with all of your diaries, even Cate when she feels like she is writing to herself, hehehe, i love reading how all your days pan out. Kristy has gone quiet the last couple of days, hope all is ok with her.

Have a great weekend everyone, will try and log in over the weekend, just so hectic and so tired all the time feels like i never really get a weekend to myself, but oh well, have a great one and take care.

Hi Angela, I'm sorry that you have had a difficult time lately but am also glad to know, for your sake, that you will be back on Cohen's 100% on Monday. I was being a bit of a sook, I will confess, about my diary. I do know that people read it but I miss actual contact (ie posts in it.) Everyone seems so busy.
