Sport My diet-- cutting out CARBS!

Sport Fitness
The low carb diet is not the way to go. To lose weight you want to lower your calorie intake. Subtract 250 calories a day to your normal intake and that should be enough. Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grain food, low fat dairy products, and low fat meats and nuts. Fiber is considered carbs and it helps curb your hunger. Just stay away from sugars, alcohol, and high glycemix index foods.

There is no reason at all to cut out carbs from your diet, It will only make you cranky, strengtless, stupid(brain dont function properly) etc. Every regular meal should consist of both fat, carbs and protein.

Calorie balance is all that matters. Period.

Gotta agree here...You're body needs carbs, and cutting out all the carbs will only hinder you. A low fat, low carb diet strips your body of it's energy sources and it will ultimately start taking it from you protein...which you need to keep your LBM. Some people carb cycle...and that's fine as long as you know what you're doing. But, I'd refer to what's stated above and focus more on your caloric content. Your body will thank you.

First: Low carb does not equal zero carb!
Second: Fruits and vegetables are carb sources, will aid in maintaining LBM by providing an alkaline source and are not considered in the carb consideration (except corn and carrots).
Third: Low carb is a valid diet protocol!
