Music for your workouts

I like to jam to really angry music. Machine Head, Fear Factory, Sevendust, Soilwork, Nonpoint.
Getting angry helps me lift heavy and blow off steam. I always leave the gym pleasantly exhausted

I'm wit ya! I always do System of a down, Metallica, Megadeth or Iron Maiden!

Regardless of whether I'm lifting or running, I need it to be heavy or have a good rocking groove.

Duality - Slipknot
Boom - POD
Bodies - Drowning Pool
Battery - Metallica
Toxicity - System of a Down
Counterfeit - Limp Bizkit

That kind of thing. Just helps me to 'push on'.

Personally I love rock to workout to. Of course it has to be upbeat and heavy to make me push myself (Saliva, Shinedown, Buckcherry, Kid Rock, etc.)
I am constantly updating my Ipod as the same old tunes can get boring just as the same old workout. I usually search in Itunes for new music and always add new stuff.
As for my Ipod the battery life is fine, it usually holds a charge for 12-14 hours.

I like listening to some Foo Fighters or Red Hot Chili Peppers - but the best one for me is the pre match song that gets played at my Rugby Club over the loudspeakers - really does get the hair on the neck standing up and gets me pumped up with adrenaline :)

I typically work out to NBC's Today show. Shows my age don't it?
