Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone else here has tried Muscle Milk. I read that it's pretty good for you and that people love the taste of it. Have any of you tried it? I think I'm going to buy it and I guess I'll buy the milk chocolate flavor of it.
From what I've read, the point of it is to repair muscles faster after exercising.

If no one else has tried it, I guess I'll let you know how it goes:p

Another thing someone said was that it really helps you train to you full potential because it gives you energy. So we'll see....

I've never tried muscle milk, but it sorta looks like an overpriced protein shake. I use a pure whey protein shake, that gives you all the same protein for a much lower price. I guess the one I use doesn't specifically give me energy, but I seem to have enough anyways.

Let us know how it works for you.

Hi Country_Gal!!!

My Hubby actaully was taking it about 2 months ago. I had a couple shakes with him. It did give him that extra boost. My hubbb ygained muscle in little has two weeks. you could totally notice a diffenrece.
And mind you he has been lifting weights and running like crazy for about two years now.

For me, it did nothing. Everyones body is different. The Oreo, and Pina colada are GREAT!!! SO YUMMY. BUt like BUh Bye said, It is a bit over priced. You are off making your own.

That's one of the main reasons why my hubby stopped buying. But if you look on the right site,or stores at the right time you are bound to get a Great deal. Give it a go. Let me know how it works for you.

I haven't used Muscle Milk, but I have used a few of that company's products I've used their sports drink, their recovery drink and EvoPro, which the website says is the protein inside Muscle Milk.

I've had good results from using their products, and the taste is pretty good too. My cycling coach had initially recommended the recovery drink for me after hard training rides, and I eventually tried more of their products.

MuscleMilk is good, but you can get away with a better protein and healthy fat.. Try some almonds and a protein shake.

it isnt that high priced if you think about it, it should last u a decent amount of time

looks ok to me although i ahve no prior experience of it, however after looking at it i can tell u there are much better supplements out there

im a fan of the dorian yates stuff, pro recover, pro peptide etc however if you do decide u like this stuff and it does help then stick to it :)

I hate almonds:D But hey, I used to hate mushrooms but now I like them, maybe I will learn to like almonds!

I did read up on Dorian Yates approved products though. I think a lot of them are to gain weight and add muscle. I think I'll end up trying out a lot of different drinks

It is a casein Protein drink, it is better when you take it before you sleep as it takes between 2-7 hours to digest. It wont help you lose weight, it is a protein shake.

I got it today and they told me it was a meal replacement but when I look it up it doesn't sound like that

Sorry, GNC

GNC workers should not be relied upon to give sound nutritional advice. ;)

You would be better served eating whole foods. These shakes are only as good as food. If you are short on time, fine. But if there was no reason for you to use a shake, you should not have wasted your money. These shakes, this one in particular, are proteins and fats. These are foods. You could eat the same thing.

I use whey shakes daily. I use them for their efficiency as well as my post workout "nutrient uptake" window.

I got it because I wanted something to drink the morning b/c i'm not a big breakfast person and I didn't want to be skipping breakfast, do you have a shake that you recommend, also I got it for after workouts to help (if there is one that does that) Any advice?
