But choose peanut butter made without hydrogenated oils or added sugars. Best if the ingredients are only peanuts (and salt if you prefer and do not have issues with salt intake).
Almond and sunflower seed butters are also available if you want some variety. So iare cashew and macadamia nut butters, although those tend to be lower in protein (they are mostly fat, albeit good fat, but if you are trying for more protein, they will not provide much of it).
